Luke's POV

"Hey Cal," I said, walking into the apartment I shared with my best friend. "Where were you? I thought your shift ended at five," He question. "Calm down, mum. I went out to grab a bite with Ally. Here, she told me to give you this," I explained, handing him a small paper bag.

"Oh, food!" He smiled. "So, what are our plans tonight?" I asked. He shrugged, pulling the food I brought him out if the bag. "Netflix!" He offered. "Okay," I chuckled. Calum went to the kitchen and ate his food. I scrolled through Netflix and didn't see anything to interesting.

Calum jumped over the couch and landed harshly on the cushion. "I'm okay," He laughed. "What do you wanna watch?" I asked. He shrugged again. Finally, after looking through the same movies, we settled on The Breakfast Club. "So, you and Ally a thing?" He asked, jokingly. "Calum! No, we're not a 'thing'. Ally knows me, okay?" I said, shoving him playfully. "I'm just messing around. Chill the fuck out," He winked. I rolled my eyes.

The movie ended and I jumped in the shower. I scrubbed my face in effort to wake me up, since it was only 9. I dried off and threw on a pair of boxers and warm ups. "Luke, y-you don't have feelings for me, right?" Calum asked. I sighed. "Dude, you ask me thus question like every night. No, I don't have feelings for you," I said.

"Just making sure. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable," He apologized. "No, i-its not problem. You're just worried, is all," I said awkwardly. "I'm gonna hit the hay. Night Lukey," He said, going into his room. "Night Calum," I said. I had watched at least two more movies on Netflix.

I went back to my room and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. When I woke up, I laid in bed. I didn't want to get up, but I had to, or else I would've been fired. I got dressed, tied my shoelaces, and ate a pop tart. "See you late Cal," I waved. "Don't take so long. I don't like being alone," He shouted back from his room. I chuckled and left.

"Hey Ally," I said, walking into the building. "Hey Luke. How's Calum?" She greeted. "Being a dork, like always," I joked. She giggled. "Well, he get mad you for being home so late?" She asked. I chuckled. "A bit. And it wasn't late, it was six thirty. So. How's you and Mr. Logan?" I smiled. She playfully hit me. "None of your concern Lucas," She said.

The job went normally, and when my shift ended, I drove back to the apartment. There wasn't anything special about today, but for some reason  I couldn't stop smiling. It was like I had just had the time of my life. I stopped by the video store to rent a couple of movies for me and Calum.

I was in the aisle for action movies, when I accidentally bumped into a boy with colorful hair. He looked familiar, but I couldn't remember his name. "Sorry," I apologized. He turned to face me. "Its oka- Luke?" He said. I cocked an eyebrow. How does he know my name? I thought. "Wh-Who are you?" I asked. "I'm Michael. Michael Clifford." Shit.
