As Yui and I walked to class, I couldn't help but start a little banter between us. I mean, she seemed like a very sweet girl so I decided to at least try.
"So, Yui, have you always been at the school?" I asked, looking at the blonde who had her hands strictly cupped in front of her. She shook her head lightly and looked sad for a split second.
"n-not really.... but I prefer not to talk about it..." she said, a sad and uneasy tone in her voice as she looked at the ground. I frowned at the girl and cleared my throat, making sure that there was no awkwardness afterwards.
"Is this your first time telling a teacher where to go?" I chuckled, placing a hand on my chest as a small laugh escaped my soft lips. Yui giggled genuinely and nodded, her eyes closing when she laughed.
"Indeed it is, stuff like this doesn't really happen that often" she smiled, making me feel a bit better after the last question. I smiled back at the blonde and hummed in realisation she had stopped to turn to an open door. She looked at me and cocked her head to the direction of the door.
"Shall we?" She chuckled, earning the same smile from my lips a second ago. I nodded and made my way into the busy and very noisy class.
Yui gave me one more heart warming smile before heading over to a seat at the back. I cleared my throat and placed my jacket on the chair next to a large wooden desk. I raised my eyebrow, pressing one hand on the desk and waiting impatiently for everyone to stop talking. Pursuing my lips, I tapped my nails on the wood and clicked my tongue a few times, until I had enough.
I picked up the closest utensil and snapped it against the desk, not the least but damaging the material as i harshly hit it.
Students yells and shouts soon died down into nothing but silence. I cleared my throat, a smile grimacing my features when I had the class tamed.

"Now then" I breathed, placing the utensil on the desktop to grab onto the piece of chalk to then write on the chalkboard that covered most of the wall behind me.
"Hello class, my name is Miss Katsuki, but you can call me Miss Kat for short" I said sharply, writing my name neatly on the board before turning around to face the class of teens. Most of them looked surprised, and others looked bored.

"From now on, I'll be your new history teacher. We will go through a format of different and fascinating years of history that I'll try to make as interesting as possible" I chuckled, feeling the aura change in the room from confused, to happy.
"Now, does anyone have any questions?" I said, and as soon as those words slipped past my mouth, many hands from different students raised in the air rapidly.
"Alright then, you?" I said, pointing to a girl who had ginger hair and soft blue eyes.

"How long have you been teaching?" She asked as I leaned my bottom on the desk with my arms crossed in a non threatening way.
"This is my first time, but I'm very qualified" I winked playfully as more whispers echoed around the room.

"You?" I asked another student who was a boy with brown hair and bright green eyes.
"How old are you?" He asked, I gulped.
"I'm 22 this year, thanks for asking" I said in a sweet tone that made the boy blush. A few more hands joined the ones raised up, and I smiled when I had seen that yui had held her hand up.
"Yes?" I pointed at the blonde who smiled when I picked her.

"Are you an only child? Or did you subs siblings?" She asked.
I tensed.
Looking around the class to see many eyes approach me. A tight feeling made its way into my chest as I looked at the ground and cleared my throat.
"I-I used to..." I mumbled, making it loud enough for everyone to hear.
"I had a huge family, but we sorta fell apart" I said, wiping the sadness of from my face to jeep a bright yet unwanted smile on my face. Yui looked down at her desk, feeling as though she had done something wrong. I frowned, closing my eyes for a second to try and communicate with her.

"hey, it's not your fault, keep your chin up hunny"

Yui snapped her head up faster than I had expected, looking at me with a shocked and surprised expression on her face. I smiled, soon moving on to the next students who asked me multiple questions.
