(This chapters a bit of a mess at the end so I'm sorry if there's very quick changes!)

It was the early hours of the evening. Carla and shin left at 3pm after we had our catch up.
It was a strange feeling having them both around again, like a quick realisation slap across the face and all of a sudden, I'm not on my own once again.
There've been many times when this has happened. One time my friends are here, the next they're not. It gets a bit lonely every now and then but I'm used to it...

"But Eve! Practically everyone knows you're alive now! You need to meet them!" Ayato screamed down the phone, but his voice made more of an impact because he was on speaker, full volume.
I chewed the inside of my cheek, thinking to myself deeply before building up a quick reply.
"Ayato... it's not like I can meet them like that, they're my brothers, not friends. It's more difficult than it sounds" I sighed, placing my hand on my head to calm down the thumping.
Ayato went silent, but I could tell he was aggravated. The silence almost seemed forced but I knew Ayato wouldn't force something like silence.
Ayato's the least silent out of our entire family and it's pure fact.
I cleared my throat and forced out a quick and steady reply.
"Ayato, do me a favour and tell me all of their timetable's for their subjects, I have a feeling some of them might be attending my class" I demanded my older brother who seemed to hum in understanding.
He didn't show any sign of sarcasm or irritation, this was genuinely a serious situation so I don't see why he would show any.

I twirled the phone's wire in between my fingers and chewed on my lip, awaiting a reply.
Ayato went quiet for about 5 minutes but he came back with much information.

"Okay- I've got all of them, but I need to give you them quickly so you can photo copy then at the academy. Our brothers won't be happy if they lost their subject sheets and I don't want to get the blame for it" I made a mental picture in my head or Ayato pointing the finger at me like me did when we were kids, he always did it when he talked about something with determination or aggressiveness.

I made a small 'mhm' and said my farewells to him before hanging up the phone.
My back touched the wall and I slid down it slowly, my breathing heavy as my eyes shut over.
It was the evening and I needed to teach, yet i was far too tired.
I decided to snap myself out of my daydream and get ready for school.

"C'mon Eve, the night is still young" I told myself.

(1 hour later)

I stepped into the academy with my books and folders filled with essay papers from my students. My shoes tapped against the floor softly as I passed walking students who bowed their heads and greeted me with kindness- well, some of them.
I passed a group of girls around one boy.
What? How peculiar.
I slowed down the pace of my walking to take in more of what was happening.
Was this some sort of ridiculous fan girl group? Please tell me it wasn't... I'm far too old to understand this sorta stuff and I don't desire to.

They were all gathered around a pretty attractive looking boy. He had very messy, light blonde hair and his eyes were a dark turquoise.
He wore many bracelets on either of his wrists and he had a great big smirk on his face.

It ticked me off.

I rolled my eyes and began walking again until I was abruptly stopped by one of the girls.

"M-miss! I'm so so sorry but I forgot my history homework at my house! Can I hang it in tomorrow?!" She asked, her eyes almost tearing up and her voice shaking.
I took her hand and shook it with reassurance.
"Of course you can dear! I'm not going to bite you for it" I chucked (mostly at the fact I made a cheesy joke) and watched her reaction.
Her sigh was full of absolute relief, her red cheeks calming down as she bowed.
"Thank you so much miss! You're the best!!" She jumped on her feet and raced back to her friends.
