It was all a surprise for me when I realised that I had literally just talked, no, argued with my other brother without even knowing it. My face was in my hands as I let out a raspy chuckle, mentally screaming at myself for even I,gaining such a thing.

"A-Ayato?" I asked, looking up from my hands to see my brother who had cleaned up the desks and sat down in a random one again.
"Yes?" He replied, not bothering to open his eyes that were squeezed shut in annoyance at me.
"Where's Laito now? I want to see him" I stood up from my chair, dusting my pencil skirt off and walking towards the open door that lead into a dead-empty hallway.
Ayato soon had a smile spread across his face, his eyes wide open this time as he stood up as well to join me.
"Knowing that bastard, he'll be in the school creeping on a random girl" he laughed dryly, the corner of his eyes crinkling lightly as he did so.

"What!?" I made a look of disturbance as he smiled at what he had just stated. Ayato looked down at me and smirked, nodding his head which made his red locks shuffle ever so slightly. Rolling my eyes, I walked out of the classroom door and into the ghostly-like hallway, some lights were irritating my ruby eyes as they flickered on and off. And I'm guessing Ayato found that annoying as well since he was rubbing his eyes a bit.
"Jesus, I'll need to tell the janitor about this..." I sighed, crossing my arms over my chest as I squinted my eyes. Ayato grunted in agreement before wandering next to me through the corridor that didn't make a single sound.
Some time later, I stopped and pushed Ayato next to me. I smelt an unfamiliar.
Ayato soon nodded his head, in signal to jump the person who we both knew might be Laito.
The sounds of a masculine giggle and a high pitched whine echoed throughout the halls, instantly alerting me that someone was in trouble, at least by the sound of it.
"Is that Yui?" I whispered to Ayato who narrowed his eyes and shrugged his shoulders as a blunt reply. Rolling my towards the sound, I creeped forward ever so slightly and peeked around the corner to see that there was two people pressed against each other.
One was definitely the boy from my class, and the other was certainly Yui.

"Hey you!" I growled, walking out from my space to place both of my hands on my waist.
The boy stopped what ever he was doing to roll his head my way, meeting my gaze with a sick grin.
Mentally cringing, I looked past him to see yui who once again was manipulated by a man. How disappointing.
"How many times do I have to tell you Yui?!" I crossed my arms and growled at the blonde. Yui hung her head in shame and closed her eyes, her cheeks flushed a strong pink as the man leaned himself off from her.
"What's this~?" The man smirked and turned to face me. Ayato stood behind me and laughed in a raspy tone.
"You pervert" he snickered, walking up to the man and shoving him harshly against the wall.
I was very confused by the situation, but I took my time to walk up to yui and wrap a hand around her waist.
I brought her away carefully and pressed her head against my chest, feeling her slowly slip into unconsciousness as the two men argued about her.
I crouched on the ground and picked yui up bridal style, carrying her to a nearby classroom so she could recover.
I kicked open the classroom door and rested her limp body on the teachers chair, hearing her breathe softly as her eye lids were closed.
I raced out of the classroom, slamming the door behind me before standing in front of the two males who were still arguing.
"Shut up!" I yelled, my voice managing to stop their voices completely.
Ayato pulled away from the other man and frowned at him strongly, balling his hands into fists as he crossed his arms.
I tapped my foot impatiently and pursed my lips, making it almost seem as if I was about to explode.
"That's enough, now, who are you and why are you here?" I got straight the the point and glared at the fedora boy who shot me a sadistic smirk.
"Feisty~ I like it" he grinned, licking his pale lips as he looked me up and down.
The boys shiny green eyes pierced into mine as we both stared at each other with warning.
"Don't stall, start talking" I snapped, crossing my arms tightly against my chest as I awaited his response. The boy tipped his fedora in a polite like fashion, the grin still spread on his lips as he finally spoke his reply.

"Laito sakamaki, at your service" He bowed, showing off his pearly white fangs through his wicked smile. I took a sharp breath and held it for about 5 seconds before looking over to Ayato who had a snarky expression written on his features.
It took him a second to realise that I was looking his way, and when he did he walked over to me and pressed his large hand on my shoulder.
"Eve, likewise" I replied, seeing Laitos body tensed everywhere when I said my name, but soon watched him look up right into my eyes and narrow them.
"... I haven't met an Eve in centuries" he sighed, digging his pale hands in his pockets and turning around to walk away. But just as he took one step I ran up to him and touched his arm.
"Wait" I spoke softly, partially skimming the skin of his hand as I touched it.

Laito stopped dead in his tracks and stiffened when my scent travelled into his sense of smell. Ayato waited patiently for him to realise that it was actually me, and not some random girl wanting his attention.
The tall male in front of me turned around in the blink of an eye and had his hand cupped in my left cheek.
"Who really are you?" He asked, leaning closer to my face as he sniffed my scent in about 3 times.
I closed my eyes and pressed my hand on top of his, transferring all the memories I had in my mind to then travel in his. Laito soon laced his fingers with mine and his green eyes were now watery with tears. I opened my eyes slowly and was met with two glistening eyes that blinked about every few seconds.
A second after he stared into my eyes, he grabbed my shoulders and pulled me into a tight hug that I was prepared for. I had my face buried in his chest and his chin rested on top my head, hearing his light pants that tried to calm his sobs down, but didn't seem to work. I sighed and hugged his waist tighter, reassuring him that I wasn't going to pull away anytime soon.
Ayato had himself occupied and walked into the classroom where a sleeping Yui lay.
Taking no notice to it, Laito latched his arms around me tighter than before and still tried to calm his harsh sobs down before he possibly let out a small wail.
I smiled softly and raised my head to kiss his forehead, his skin as cold as ice when I touched it.
Laito's sobs almost immediately calmed down and soon replaced with silence.

"I missed you, my flower" he sniffed, stroking my hair as we shared the moment peacefully together. My smile widened as I nodded and buried my face in his collar once more.
"I missed you too, brother".
