Kassidy POV

I looked at the pile of positive pregnancy tests in the trashcan beside the desk in my room. I don't know why I was still grasping on to hope that all 10 tests were wrong somehow. Emma walked into the room and I kicked the trashcan under the desk and threw a shirt over it. I wasn't ready to tell anyone. Not even Emma, who had become the sister I never knew I needed.

"Hey, you ready for school tomorrow?" She asked.

"Yeah, as ready as I'll ever be." I smiled.

"Its finally almost over!" She sighed happily and laid back on my bed.

"I know." I said. She propped herself up on her elbows and looked at me.

"You okay? You've been weird this week." She said.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Just before school jitters." I said.

"Why don't you see Killian tonight? He's usually makes you feel better." She said and winked.

"Nah, I'm okay really. Besides your Dad would flip out if I went to see Killian the night before school starts." I said.

"True. But you haven't seen him all week." She said.

"I know, We've both been busy." I said and glanced down at my phone to see Killian was calling for the fourth time today. I ignored it. David came up and stood in the doorway.

"Hey, we're going to Granny's for dinner tonight. Ruby and Belle are coming too, Come on." He said and smiled.

"Okay Dad." Emma said and stood from the bed and started walking out the door.

"You coming?" She asked looking back at me.

"Yeah I'll be down in a second." I smiled. Emma walked out of the room and down the stairs I looked back at my phone.

Killian:

Where have you been all week? I miss you. Sneak out if you can.

I sighed. Eventually I was going to have to tell him. I was just scared as hell of losing him. I sent him a quick text back so he didn't think I was completely avoiding him.

Me:

I'll try.. no promises. 

Ruby, Emma, Belle and I sat in our normal booth while Mr. and Mrs. Nolan sat in one behind us. My stomach was in knots and I was having a hard time eating.

"You okay?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah.. I think I'm still getting over that food poisoning." I mumbled.

Or this kid is trying to starve me to death.

"Hey." Emma said and nudged me. "Look who just walked in." I glanced over at the door and nearly choked on a French fry as Killian walked in. He looked over at us. I quickly looked down at my food. He walked over to the table.

"Hello, ladies." He said.

"Hey..Mr. Jones." I mumbled and nodded towards David sitting in the booth behind us.

"Are you ready for school?" He asked.

"No." Ruby said.

"I didn't imagine so, Miss Lucas. I'll see you all in the morning Senior class starts bright and early."

Ruby and Emma both groaned in protest. I sat quietly trying to eat my French fries without vomiting. Killian gave me a look of concern before walking away.
