Chapter 6 Familiar face

Kassidy POV

I hurried down the hallway towards Killian's class. I was running late Killian turned off his alarm to let me get a little more sleep, and I slept past the second one. I wasn't paying attention and ran right into someone dropping everything in my hands. I sighed.

"I'm sorry, I'm just in a hurry." I said not even looking at who I had run into. I bent down to pick up the papers that were previously in my hands and whoever I had bumped into bent down to help. their hand brushed mine. I looked up at the boy with brown shaggy hair and blue eyes.

"Graham?!" I asked and grinned.

"Kassidy??" He said and smiled at me. Graham was one of my old friends from New York.

"When did you transfer?" I asked.

"Just today actually." He said and helped me pick up my papers and handed them to me. "How have you been? Its been a while." He said and then frowned. "I heard about your Dad..I'm really sorry Kass." He said.

"Its okay. I'm doing okay actually." I smiled. "How about you?" I asked.

"I'm doing better now that I see a familiar face." He smirked. I smiled and tucked my hair behind my ears and looked over at Killian who was walking over.

"Miss Cole, you are about three seconds away from being late. Again." He said and looked at Graham with a raised brow.

"I'm Sorry Mr. Jones. I was on my way when I literally ran into one of my old friends from New York. This is Graham Humbert. He just transferred today." I said. He looked at Graham

"Are you a senior Mr. Humbert?" He asked. Graham nodded.

"Yes sir." He said.

"Well, that makes you almost late for my class too. I'm sure Miss Cole can fill you in on what happens when students are late for my class." He said and walked into his classroom.

"Wow. What a dick." Graham said.

What the hell Killian?

I laughed. "Come on before he locks the door." I said and walked into the classroom followed by Graham. Graham sat behind me. Ruby looked over at me and then looked back at Graham.

"Whos your friend?" She asked with a smirk.

"This is Graham." I said and introduced him. "Graham this is Ruby."

"Hey." He said quietly. He was always a little shy and awkward.

"Miss Cole, Miss Lucas quiet please." Killian said.

"Sure, Jones. If it makes ya happy." I said. Graham snickered from behind me.

"I see, you haven't changed a bit." He whispered. Killian shot him a glare.

After class Killian asked me to stay behind.

"I was going to show Graham where his next class is Actually." I said.

"Mr. Humbert, you received a campus map with your handbook yes?" He asked.

Graham nodded. "Uh.. yeah." He said.

"Perhaps you should use it then." Killian said coldly. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Okay then. Sure Mr. Jones." Graham said and looked at me. "See you in Environmental Science?"

I nodded. "Yeah I'll be there." I smiled. He walked out of the classroom. I turned to Killian and put my hands on my hips giving him a penance stare
