Kassidy POV
"Are you going to sleep all day?"
Killian?
I blinked my eyes open and sat up in the chair and stretched rotating my neck and shoulders, being pregnant and sleeping in chairs is not a good idea. I yawned and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes before glancing side ways at Killian's bed. He was sitting up and smiling at me.
Hes awake!
"What time is it?" I mumbled.
"Almost 12." Killian said.
"How long have you been awake?" I asked.
"A few hours."
Damnit Liam..
"Before you get mad at Liam, I told him to let you sleep. He said you were here all night."
"I was." I said and glanced away. There was that pride showing its ugly face again.
"Thank you." He said.
"For?" I asked.
"Coming, and staying with me. I wouldn't have blamed you if you didn't." He said.
"Of course I came. I lo-" I sighed. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay." I said.
"Well, I'm okay. I'll be here for a couple of weeks though."
"I can imagine, you were pretty hurt." I said.
"Yeah.." He said. I stood up.
"I'm going to get some jello. Do you want Jello?" I asked.
"Sure." He smiled. I walked out of the room and down to the cafeteria wondering why the hell it was so easy to talk to him when he was sleeping, but now that he was talking back I just wanted to run away. I loved him. I did, but I had my doubts about trying to make the relationship work again. I still needed time.
I got back to his room and handed him a big plate of blue jello He held the plate and shook it watching it jiggle.
"You...don't like jello do you?" I asked.
"Nope." He said "I just didn't know if you'd come back if told you I didn't want any." He said. I sighed.
"Dork."
I sat down in the chair next to the bed.
"Kass, I'm really sorry." He said.
"Lets just not talk about that right now okay? Lets focus on you getting better."
"We have to talk about it eventually." He sighed.
"I know. I just need time. Okay? I had no intentions of ever talking to you again and then when this happened It brought up some feelings and I'm trying to sort them out. I need time, and I need you to respect that and give me my space." I said.
