Chapter 23 Date with Satan

Kassidy POV

"Is this how you dress for a date with the principal?" I asked and laughed at Killian's attire.

"You really are enjoying this aren't you?" He asked.

"Well, we need to keep up appearances. Everyone thinks you are single." I said "Besides you only have to do one date, its not like she can fire you if you tell her you aren't interested after the first one." I added. He gave me a look.

"She hates you because you exist love. I'm sure she'd have no problem firing me." He said.

"Okay, well legally, she can't so you are safe."

"I really am surprised you are taking this so well." Killian said.

"Well, I have to admit, I am a little nervous. which is why I will be there with Ruby and if she tries anything I'll launch a steak knife at the back of her head." I smiled.

"You...are terrifying." Killian smirked.

"I'm surprised it took this long for someone else to notice how incredibly sexy you are." I grinned. He leaned in and pressed his lips to my ear

"I could just cancel you know." He whispered.

"And ruin my entertaining evening? I think not!" I said.

"Fine. But you are in for it when I come home." He smirked sending shivers up my spine.

"You are going to be late Mr. Jones." I said. "And so am I. Ruby is waiting for me." I said and grabbed my coat.

"Best not keep Ruby waiting." He grinned. I rolled my eyes and walked past him, he smacked my ass on the way out the door.

"Hey!"

"You deserved it." He grinned and pecked me on the lips. "See you later."

Killian POV

I have had a lot of awkward moments in my life, but nothing as awkward as sitting in a booth across my Boss who I was in no way shape or form attracted to while my smoking hot Fiancé sat a few tables away in a suggestive little sweater dress smirking at me.

Our food arrived at the table finally, maybe she would eat and stop making awkward small talk. I took a bite of my cheeseburger and nearly choked as Regina ran her leg over mine.

the fuck is she doing?

She grinned at me.

"I've always been attracted to you Killian, its just you were married and now that your not.." She said. I raised an eyebrow.

My phone vibrated in my pocket.

"Just a moment." I said and checked my phone.

Kassidy:

Stop giving her the sexy eyebrow. that's my sexy eyebrow!

Me:

I knew you were going to be jealous.

Kassidy:

I'm not jealous. Seriously though. Mine.

I put my phone back in my pocket. Regina glanced back at Ruby and Kassidy and rolled her eyes turning back to me.

"of course.. she would be here." She said.

"Well, it is a popular diner Regina, all of the kids from school eat here." I said.
