Sweet Tooth-Lawliet

Lawliet's POV
I walked into the Police department with Natalie at my side. I now had to tell Chief Yagami that I was dating his daughter. "Don't worry about it." She said in her smooth and calm voice. I nodded and she turned to look at me and scruffed up my hair making messier than it was. "There, that's better." Natalie said intertwining her fingers with mine and dragging me into the police station. We walked to her father's office and she closed the door behind her. She nudged me forward and her father put his eyes on me. "Mr. Yagami, I uh...I really have deep feelings for your daughter and I want your permission to be with her." I stuttered. Natalie could sense my nervousness and grabbed my hand and gave me a reassuring squeeze. "Of course, if you make Natalie happy I approve, just know if you hurt her I'll shoot you dead where you stand." He threatened with a smile. I gulped down saliva and nodded. Natalie ran over to her father and hugged her. "Thanks dad." She said. I smiled slightly and we walked out of the police station. "Don't we both have to investigate the Kira case?" I questioned. "We're going for some sweets since you have a sweet tooth." She said. I smiled at her and we entered a cafe, but she got a call. "Yeah Light?" She asked through the phone.

Natalie's POV
"Natalie can you get me my text book from my drawer." He asked. "Sure, I'll be there as soon as I can." I replied. "Sorry L, Light needs his text book to study, meet you at the station?" I asked. He nodded and entered the cafe. I hailed a cab and finally got to the house after the driver tried to flirt with me, but I just ignored it. I ran upstairs to his room and looked at his desk and opened a drawer, I hit my hand against the table and knocked a pen underneath it. I got on my stomach and grabbed it, but turned my head to see the underneath of a drawer and noticed a tiny hole. "This is where Light keeps his diary, wait I showed him this type of hiding. Wow I'm a true inspiration." I said sarcastically. I took apart a pen and stuck it through the hole and looked back in the drawer to see a black notebook with the words Deathnote written across it in scrawled handwriting. I opened the book and skimmed through the pages becoming mortified with my findings. Light was Kira and was using this notebook to kill people. I grabbed my phone and dialed Lawliet's phone number. "Yeah babe?" I started to cry over the phone. "Drive a cop car to my house now." I said. "Okay I'm on my way now." He said. I hung up the phone and sat on Light's bed. "Natalie, Dad told me about your boyfriend!" I heard Light shout from downstairs. I sat on the notebook and Light ran into the room and frowned at me. "You should've at least told me about L!" He shouted. "You should've at least told me your Kira! I found your Deathnote Light. How could you do this?" I asked tearing up. He froze at my words and dropped to his knees in front of me and looked up at me. "Natalie you have to know I was trying to make the world a better place. Please believe me." He begged. I motioned for him to stand up and hugged him and cuffed him. "I knew you wouldn't understand." He whispered. I grabbed the journal and grabbed Light by his arm and threw him into the back of the cop car. "He's Kira." I muttered handing the Deathnote to Lawliet. He skimmed through it and glared back at Light and handed my an index card I hadn't seen before.

Steps to Kill L
1.) Make sure Natalie gains his trust
2.)Have Natalie tell me his real name
3.)Write both their names in the Deathnote
4.)Make sure both have a heart attack at different times.

I read it and anger filled my body. Once we got to station I took Light to a holding cell threw him to the ground and grabbed him by his hair and punched him as hard as I could and kicked him so hard he slid to the other side of the cell. "That's for planning to kill me." I growled walking out and seeing that Misa was writing in a similar book. I walked over to her and greeted her with a smile and yanked the book from her hands. "Kira number 2 you're under arrest." I said grabbing her by her hair and dragging her into the cell. I punched her nose that made a satisfying snapping noise. I locked the cell up and looked at the both of them and grabbed Lawliet's shirt and smashed my lips against his. Once we separated I smirked at Lawliet's now red face. "That was just for fun." I said as Light looked like he was just stabbed. "Let's show these to my father and then destroy them." Lawliet nodded and we showed them to my father and then threw them into a fireplace that was now warming us up from the cold apartment Lawliet had. "Love you Lawliet." I whispered looking up at him. He smiled and kissed my lips softly. "I love you too Natalie." He whispered cuddling me closer to him.
