Newt's POV
I watched as Natalie and her brother Thomas were walking towards me. "Newt's what the shuck are you thinking!" Natalie shouted noticing that I had a runner's pack on. "Minho is short on men and he's about to go on a run. He asked if I could go with him." I explained. "I'm gonna leave this one to you sis." Thomas commented before walking off. Natalie pulled me as close as she could possibly could and wrapped her arms around me tightly. "Come back to me alright." She whispered into my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around her smaller and more delicate frame and smiled. "I will. Minho will take great care of me I'm sure." I said looking into her blue eyes. They were so much different than her brothers brown ones but they had the same dark matching hair. "I shucking love you, you know that right?" I asked her making her smirk up at me. "Yes you let me know every morning when we wake up and I love you too." She replied. I kissed her lips gently and we were interrupted when Minho started to call my name. "Guess that's my signal to go. I'll be back before you know it." I said before running to the doors.

Natalie's POV
I was currently helping Frypan in the kitchen making sure that we could have dinner done by the time the runner's came back which should be in a little bit. "NATALIE! NATALIE, NEWT'S HURT!" I heard Thomas scream. I dropped the pan I was cleaning. And sprinted out of the kitchen area. "Newt!" I shouted seeing Minho and Thomas helping Newt get into the Glade. I ran over to them faster than any runner we've had could run and I dropped to my knees in front of him. "Natalie he's stung." Minho told me. I felt my soul leave my body as soon as I heard those words. "No...he can't die on me." I whispered brushing the hair out of his face. "Natalie." I heard Newt groan. I cupped his face in my hands and he opened his eyes to look at me. "Hey I'm right here. I'm gonna make sure you're fine." I reassured him. "Get him to the medjacks and I'll meet you there in a couple minutes. Thomas and Minho looked at me for moment but picked Newt up and carried him as fast as they could away. I leaned against a tree and let out a loud scream. I felt the warm tears slip down my cheeks and drip onto my shirt. And then I felt dizzy.

I was sitting on a medical table and Thomas was sitting on a chair in the room. "Natalie and Thomas I have good news and some okay news." A person said walking into the room while holding a clipboard. "The okay news is you're both immune to the flare, but the good news is that Natalie's blood has the ability to cure the venom of a griever sting." She told us.

I snapped back into reality and scrambled to my feet and ran to the medjack hut. "I know what to do. I just got some of my memories back. Someone give me a knife." I shouted once I had opened the door. Minho handed me a pocket knife and I went to cut my hand, but Thomas grabbed my wrist and looked at me. "Natalie what do you think you're doing?" He asked. "My blood can cure the venom now let go!" I shouted. "How do you even know for sure. We can't be completely sure." He reasoned. "Well there's no point in not doing it. My blood isn't going to kill him any faster if I do give him some, even if it doesn't cure it. And if my blood does then I would've given up the chance to save the love of my life. If I don't do this, I'll be letting the venom kill him." I cried. Thomas glanced over at Newt and then to me and let go of my wrist. "Do it." He finally said. I nodded and walked over to Newt and kissed his forehead. "Newt this is gonna be really gross but it'll be the only way to save you okay." I said trying not to cry. He nodded and I took the knife and dragged it over the palm of my hand and winced as I saw the crimson liquid start to flow out of the wound. I  looked back at Newt and saw that there were purple veins starting to spread up his arms quickly. "Open your mouth." I ordered. Newt complied and I tilted my hand and a steady stream of blood slipped off of my hand and into his mouth. I could see him cringe and I stopped the flow by clenching my hand into a fist and grabbing some bandages. I looked over at Newt and noticed that the veins had stopped spreading. I sighed in relief and let one of the medjacks bandage my hand. "Dinner is ready you coming?" Thomas asked me. I shook my head and he sighed. "I'll bring you something later." He said before walking out with everyone else while I stayed by Newt's side. I could tell he was passed out and it brought tears to my eyes. "You're prefectly wrong for me, all the stars in the sky can see why you're perfectly wrong for me. Oh you know how much it hurts, every time you say you hate me. But when you kiss me you make it worth it." I sang laying my head down on the mattress. It was a song that me and Newt had made up when we had been together for a year. "You're prefectly wrong for me that's why it's so hard to leave, yeah you're perfectly wrong for me." I heard Newt sing. I lifted my head and he was smiling at me. I placed a hand on his cheek and kissed his lips. "I guess we are really close together now since I've drank your blood." He joked. I let out a laugh and felt tears slip off my face. "Hey love don't cry." He whispered wiping the tears. I grabbed his hand and kissed it. "I almost lost you." I replied my voice cracking. "But you didn't and that's all that matters right now. Now smile, you look so much better with one." He told me. I smiled at him and he smiled in response. "Come lay with me and let's get some sleep. Today has been stressful." He told me scooting over and letting me lie next to him. I wrapped my arms around him and buried my face in his neck and took a deep breath of his scent. He smelled like freshly cut grass. "I love you." He said. "I love you too shank." I whispered back smirking into his neck.
