Natalie's POV
I woke up to a baby crying, I waited for Tony to take care of Jasmine, but the crying didn't stop. Someone had left little Jasmine in front of Stark Tower with a note saying it was Tony's kid. Sure Tony had his share of one night stands, but you think he would use protection. Tony tested their DNA and it was a match and she was his daughter. He absolutely wasn't ready to be a dad, but he adored Jazz anyway and tried his damn best. It made me laugh just thinking about it, but her cries interrupted my thoughts. I lugged myself out of bed and out of my room. Tony and I had been friends for the past three years and us being Avengers members made us grow closer. I fixed my pajama shorts and big t-shirt and walked into the kitchen where a sleep deprived Tony was rocking Jasmine in his arms as her cries got louder. "I'm sorry Natalie I've been trying to get her to sleep, but she won't stop crying and I've tried everything." He said with a sympathetic look. "Nah you're fine Tony, you look worse than I do. Here, give her to me." I said walking over to him. He passed her over to me and I balanced her on my hip and wiped away the tears from her cheeks and stared into her brown eyes. When she looked at my blue ones she calmed down and the crying stopped. "There there Jazz, Natalie's got ya." I whispered shifting her into my arms and letting her rest her head on my chest while I rubbed her back. "How'd you do that?" He asked looking at the two of us. "All she needed was a motherly figure. And a rack to rest her head on." I joked making Tony smile. "Thanks Natalie, I don't know what I would do without you, I'm a lousy dad." He whispered. "Tony you're an amazing dad, you're doing your best. But even the best people need a little help sometimes and I'm willing to take shifts with you." I said putting and hand on his arm. He smiled at me and then at Jazz. "I can't ask that of you." I rolled my eyes at him which made him chuckle. "You didn't ask, I'm doing it, plus I love Jazz and you can't take care of herself on your own." I told him my voice laced with concern. "Are you sure Nat?" I nodded and we walked back into Jasmine's nursery and I put her in her crib. "C'mon Tony." I whispered. We walked back into the living room and sat down next to each other. "Look Tony, I know you're hesitant to let people help you, but let me do this. I was pregnant when I was eighteen, my boyfriend convinced me that I wouldn't get pregnant and look where that had got us. I was so excited to have a baby and be a mom. My boyfriend on the other hand wasn't and hired some guys to beat me into a miscarriage and I lost my baby. When I found out I was beyond angry and heartbroken that he was hateful enough to kill his own child that was inside me. So I found him on the date our baby was supposed to be born and killed him like he killed our baby." I explained staring at the fireplace that was currently radiating heat onto us. "Natalie I'm so sorry, was it a boy or a girl?" He asked. "It was a boy, a little baby boy that I was going to name Steve Rodger Junakin." I said smiling back on the thought of Steve. He had found me on the streets when I was twelve, he was a young seventy year old man. "There we go again, with star spangled Steve." He joked which made me smile. I turned to look into his brown eyes and found myself staring at his lips. "Fuck it." I muttered before pressing my lips against his. He returned the kiss and when we separated I was smiling like a mad man. "You're the first person to make a move on me first." He said making me smile. "Guess I'm different then." We stayed on the couch for a little longer before I dozed off. I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. I looked down to see Tony and I laying on the couch. Him on top of me with his head resting on my tits. I smiled and ran my hands through his hair gently making sure not to wake him up. I admired him as he smiled in content when I ran my fingers through his locks. "Good morning." I said as he opened his eyes. "You're right, having a rack to rest your head on makes you tired." He joked with his morning voice. "Told ya." I chuckled. We stayed like that for a while before I could hear Jasmine's crying. Tony went to get up but I pushed him back onto the couch and started to walk into the nursery and took her out of the crib. "Good morning Jazz." I whispered sleepily to her. She calmed down in my arms and let out a soft giggle which melted my heart. I felt arms wrapped around my waist and Tony rested his chin on my shoulder. "You know she makes you look like a real softie Natalie."
