A Light in the Dark-Mr. Tumnus

Tumnus' POV
I walked into the cottage after discussing with the White Witch after she had taken her rein over Narnia. "Tumnus is that you my love?" I heard Natalie ask. I smiled and walked into the living room where she was waiting for me. "Yeah I'm home and I have news." I said sadly. She walked over to my and placed her warm hands on my shoulders. "What happened?" She asked. "In order for the White Witch to take mercy on us we would have to turn in any humans that we cross paths with." I explained. She frowned and let her arms fall to her sides. "We aren't going to are we?" She asked tearing up. "It's the only way we can stay safe dear." I told her. She backed away from me and screwed her eyes shut and her hands clenched into fists. "I love you so much, but I can't stay with a man that would go as far as to go against the words of Aslan." Her words made me freeze and I swear I could feel my heart break into pieces. "Natalie please." I begged stepping towards her. "Aslan said that two daughters of Eve and two sons of Adam would save us. I only hope that you don't try and stop that my love." She said. She kissed me and I kissed her back and closed my eyes and when I didn't feel her lips any longer I opened them and she was gone. I dropped to my knees and wept into my hands.

*SKIP A FEW YEARS*

Natalie's POV
I was polishing my sword and noticed everyone's attention was turned to something. I stood up and walked to the front and smiled as I saw Peter, Susan, and Lucy. "I see you three have made it. I am Natalie head of battle and Aslan's most trusted warrior and head of the troops along with Oreius of course." I introduced kneeling before them. "Are you human as well, you're very pretty?" Lucy asked. I smiled at her comment and met her eyes. "No I'm a witch, not a bad one though." I told her and her eyes lit up as I made a flower sprout from the palm of my hand. "Now I'm sure you're eager to meet Aslan." I said making them all nod.

I rode along with Lucy and Susan as we were on Aslan. "Where are we going Aslan?" I asked. "To the White Witch's palace to recruit some more people." He replied. I jumped off and fought off the wolves that were waiting for us. We ran into the palace and noticed hundreds of stone statues that the witch had created. I noticed Lucy weeping. "Lucy what is it..." I trailed off as I saw a statue of Tumnus and I collapsed to my knees and placed a hand on his cheek. "She did this, she took him away from me for good. She took away my love." I murmured angry tears streaming down my cheeks. "You were the witch he talked about. The one he said he loved to the ends of Narnia. He cried when we talked about you." Lucy said. I felt rage build in me and I floated to my feet and my head snapped over to the mountain to where the battle would take place. "I'll kill her! I'll make her suffer!" I shouted letting wings of a raven sprout from my back and carry me towards the battle field. I dropped to the ground and landed in front of the Jadis and smirked as she back away. "What is this heavenly power that turns your eyes red?" She taunted. "It's called messing with my love." I told her swinging my sword at her and she almost barely dodged and Peter joined in the fight. "Till death!" I shouted making sure he knew I would fight with him. I was tossed across the battle field and I ran at another opponent and noticed Peter on the ground. "PETER!" I screamed while getting attacked. I heard a mighty roar and everyone stopped to see reinforcements. "That's it I'm ending this." I growled. I pressed my palm against the earth and let my powers flow through it and killed the remainder of the subjects truly loyal to Jadis. "Natalie!" I heard a voice I never thought I'd hear again. "Tumnus?" I asked turning around and seeing my true love. I ran into his arms and kissed him passionately. "I never stopped loving you. I'm so sorry I left, I could've protected you from her." I sobbed into his shoulder. "Natalie I don't care, I just care that you're here now and that we still love each other." He told me holding my face in his hands. I smiled and he wiped away tears that were running down my face. "I love you so much." I whispered pressing my forehead against his. "I love you too." He replied.
