Jasper's POV
I was hunting before Bella's birthday so I could try and hold myself back tonight. "Hey babe." I heard someone say. Natalie jumped in front of me and I kissed her softly. "Do you think I'll be okay?" I asked her. She placed once of her hands on my cheeks and I leaned into her touch. "I think you'll do great. And even if you get carried away, I'll be there to stop you." She explained. I nodded and I sat down on the forest ground and leaned against a tree. Natalie sat next to me and rested her head on my chest and I smiled to myself. "How was your day darlin'?" I asked using my southern accent. I could see her smile and she ran her hands through my hair. "It was okay, but you made it better by using your accent." She whispered. I wrapped my arm around her waist and me and Natalie stared up at the moon which was a full one tonight. "We should probably get going. We don't want Alice to be upset at us for being late." I said rolling my eyes as I mentioned Alice. I had fallen in love with Natalie when she was human and Alice attacked her because she didn't like how close I was with her. I had to save her with my venom and she's been with me ever since. "Please Alice is already pissed at us as it is." She laughed. I smiled at her attempt to lighten the mood and locked my fingers with hers. We ran into the house and we seemed to startle Alice. "Oh Natalie, Jasper." She said in a rude tone. I grabbed onto her arm and tugged her back. "It would be best if you left this alone Alice." I stated firmly. She rolled her eyes at me and walked away. "Just let it be Jasper." Natalie told me. I nodded and pulled her into my arms as Edward and Bella walked in. I stopped breathing and tried to focus on Natalie. Natalie squeezed my hand as if she could feel my discomfort. She turned around and forced me down to her level and I could feel her breath on my ear. "You'll do fine." She murmured quietly. "Hey Bella my name is Natalie, I was out of town when you and Edward got together. It's really nice to meet you." She said walking up to Bella and holding out her hand. Bella looked at Edward and he simply nodded and Bella shook her hand. "Natalie has amazing control over the smell of blood and she is extremely strong, stronger than Emmett." Edward told Bella. She nodded and it was present time. Me and Natalie had completely zoned out until a familiar scent shot through my nostrils. 

Natalie's POV
I froze as I smelled blood. I noticed a drop slip off of Bella's finger and I was pushed away by Jasper. Emmett and I tried to get a grip on Jasper, but he moved too quickly. Edward shoved him back along with Bella. She was slammed against a glass table and more blood gushed out of her arm. I ran over to Jasper and threw him over my shoulder and Emmett followed me outside. I put him on his feet, but kept tight grips on his arms. "Jasper. JASPER LOOK AT ME!" I shouted making him stop his blood crazed rampage and finally calm down. "It wasn't your fault, none of this was your fault okay. They were being careless, I told them this was a bad idea and they didn't listen." I said cupping his face in my hands and making him look at me. "I'm sorry." He told me looking sadder than I had ever seen him before. I just hugged him a tight as possible and calmed down as I felt his arms wrap around me. "You are not a monster, you are my hero. Remember that Jazz." I whispered looking into his golden eyes. He kissed me passionately and I kissed him back. "I love you darlin'." He muttered. "I love you to cowboy." I whispered back making him smile slightly
