I never liked teen movies
Especially when it's obvious.
The typical "believe in yourself" plot.
"The pressures of high school".
"The obvious romantic interest".
It's all the same; it blends together.My sister was into that stuff;
I never was.
I lived it though
And hated every second.
And trust me when I say
That it's nothing glamorous.Believing in yourself could only go
So far.
No one tells you about the asteroids
Hurling towards you,
With the force of a million horses,
As they grind your bones to dust.Pressures increase every day,
Driving people to horrendous things
With society's pressure to succeed,
Sucking out any and all hope
For a brighter future,
Making us only see dim hope.In a world driven by sex and hormones,
The romantic interest is covered
Under the ruse of a typical fuckboy,
But with many parasites in the shadows.
So if you want to find Prince Charming,
You'll have to open your legs first.Being the main character,
The "outcast in a world of preps",
It'll take a lot of luck
For your movie to sell.
So consider this a warning:
Stay away from teen movies.
