Y/N POV

Being alone with Finn didn't feel weird. If anything it was comforting. I was upset because we couldn't stay in bed due to school. I got up earlier than Finn and showered, getting ready for the day. Once I got out of the bathroom I headed back into his room, knocking first obviously. A faint 'come in' was heard from the other side of the door. He was tying his shoes.

"Are you ready yet?" I asked.

"Yeah, almost. Want to stop for donuts on the way to school or do you want to just eat something here?" Finn said as he stood up.

"If you have to ask that question you obviously don't know me." I joked.

He laughed, "Donuts it is then."

We headed downstairs and said our goodbyes to his parents. We grabbed our skateboards and headed to the nearest donut shop. After getting out donuts, we got to school about twenty minutes early. Finn got a FaceTime call from Millie.

"Hi Finn! Oh, hi (y/n)! How are you guys?"

"We're good, what about you?"

"Great, actually. I got the script today, have you gotten yours yet?"

"Not yet, anything exciting?"

"Well, if you count kissing me again exciting then yes. Wow, okay I made that awkward."

I decided to intervene, "Was it weird the first time? I've never kissed anyone." I asked.

"It's real weird, I literally screamed out 'Kissing sucks!'."

I laughed and nudged Finn. He playfully rolled his eyes and laughed too. After saying our goodbyes, we headed to first period.

-.-

We sat at lunch, (y/bff) joining us today. I sat beside them, Finn and Josh in front of us. Our conversation was normal until Finn started talking about Millie's comment on their kiss.

"You've really never kissed anyone?!" (Y/bff) whisper screamed.

I shrugged, getting a bit embarrassed. (Y/bff) noticed this and apologized.

"Finn should teach you." Josh said, earning a push from Finn.

We all laughed and brushed his comment off our shoulders. Kind of...it didn't sound like too bad of an idea. He probably wouldn't be up to it and he could get into trouble if his parents or Nick found out.

-.-

Finn's POV

Josh and I were on our way to our next class. He made lunch awkward. I couldn't stop replaying the memory of (y/n) and I kissing at that party a few months ago. I wish it could happen again except her being sober this time.

"I opened the gate for you dude. You can finally try and kiss her."

I laughed nervously and thought about it. I should tell him.
"I already have..." I mumbled.

He stopped in his tracks and pulled me to the side. His eyes were practically bulging out of his head.

"When?! Why am I just now hearing about this?" Josh asked frantically.

"A few months ago at the party but she doesn't know it happened. She was out of her mind that night, remember?"

"A few months?! What the f*ck Finn? You can't just kiss (y/n) and not tell me."

"Not so loud dude. One of Mariah's minions might be around." I shushed him.

He laughed and shook his head.
"I don't get why you're still with that girl. You feel nothing for her."

"I told you why. I'm dead if I ruin this deal." I whispered.

-.-

After school, Josh decided to tag along with us. Of course we went to my house and just hung out. We were planning on going to the beach one of these days. I was sitting on my bedroom floor with Josh beside me while (y/n) layed on her stomach on my bed behind us. After a few rounds, Josh decided to go. Of course he winked at me and mouthed "Go get 'em." I rolled my eyes and kept playing video games.

Not too long after, (y/n) joined me on the floor. We were mostly talking about the game and how much we both sucked at it. I don't know if I should bring up what Josh joked about at lunch today.

"Josh really knows how to make people feel awkward, huh?" (Y/n) said, as if she read my mind.

"What do you mean?"

"The kissing joke he made."

Should I risk it?

"I don't think he was joking." I subtly hinted.

"Why do you think that?"

"He didn't laugh. He usually laughs when he's joking about something."

She stayed quiet for a while. Did I just make this extremely awkward for the both of us? Yes.

"Hear me out. Would it be so weird for you to teach me?"

Did I just hear her correctly or am I dreaming?

I put the controller down and shrugged. I tried to speak but all I could do was open and close my mouth.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked. I'll go if you want me to." she said as she got up.

Sh* sh*t sh*t she's walking away! Finn you idiot get up!

She was already halfway out the door when I reached for her. I grabbed her wrist and she turned to look at me. I crashed my lips onto hers. At first she seemed shocked but then went with it. We parted and I saw her bright red face.

"How was that? Good first lesson?" I asked.

Wow I'm awkward as hell

She nodded and gave me a small smile in return. I really hope this doesn't ruin our friendship.
