The scene from Hilton Lake was all the adjectives you could use synonymously to beautiful.
She awed at the sight.
"Is that…."
"Yep, that is Hilton Lake"
"How did you…" Leia was obviously blown away.
"My sister was the one who discovered this place, her boyfriend brought her here once and she showed it to me, it became our get away too"
"You really are close huh"
"Yes we are, come to think of it, she just had a baby and she wants me to visit this weekend, wanna come?"
"I thought she is in Los Angeles"
"Yep, she is"
"You are asking me to fly to Los Angeles with you this weekend?"
"Actually I will be driving"
"Oh"
"Is that a yes?" Dave asked.
"I don't know Dave but…..doesnt sound like a bad idea either"
"You just admitted to enjoying my company"
"How?"
"Never mind, all I am saying is, I would love it if you could come with me"
Leia had a bad feeling about it but she kept mute anyway but promised herself she would give it a thought.
The rest of the night was just talks about the future, their hopes and drinking soda.

The following day, Dave stopped by at Kaia's new work place with an envelope and big news.
"What's up Dave?"
"I hired an investigator to track down Dante"
"This is crazy, we would never find him"
"Oh he would"
"Are you serious?"
"Yep, however, Leia cannot know about this till I can find her brother"
"Wait you want to find Jamal, can you do that?"
"I can try, besides Leia needs to be happy, there is so much eating her up and I will be so glad if I can fill at least one of those holes"
"Finding Jamal will fill every single hole Dave"
Kaia was so excited she lit up instantly and seeing that on her face gave Dave an idea of how Leia would feel and that alone was enough motivation.
Kaia heard the sound of Leia's motor bike and saw her hop off dressed in shorts and a tank top.
She hardly saw her dressed like that but she couldn’t blame her, it was a pretty hot August
"Hey" Leia walked in, dropped her keys on the counter and hopped unto a seat.
"We're closing up"
"I know, I just came to carry your ass home before any more fights break out here"
"Shh" Kaia shushed her and looked around to make sure no one heard.
"What?"
"You are going to make everyone think I am some sort of violent freak or something, I just started this job for crying out lod and it pays well, I need books for school"
"Yeah, whatever anything chilled?"
Kaia took the cue and began to put something together for her.
"Has Dave been here?"
"Why?" Kaia's heart skipped a beat. This girl is just too serious, like for real did she see Dave, has she been spying? Kaia wondered.
"Nothing, I just havent heard from him all day and its unlike him"
"Mmmm" Kaia danced her eyebrows.
"Whats with that face?"
"Someone is worried sick"
"Ridiculous, worried yes but not worried sick"
"That just sounded ridiculous" Kaia teased and Leia pinched her.
"Ow That is so childish" Kaia giggled.
"You are so childish now gimme my drink" Leia snatched it from her and Kaia laughed.
"You guys actually look good together you know"
"He asked me to go with him to Los Angeles to see his sister who just had another baby"
"Really?" She screamed.
"Shhh" Leia hinted her to pipe down and she began to whisper.
"I mean really?"
"Uh huh" Leia sucked in her smoothie.
"What did you say….Leia if you said something stupid like 'I cant, I'm sorry' in that annoyingly disappointing tone of yours trust me you are sleeping outside tonight and after everyother late shift"
Leia giggled.
"I told him I will think about it"
"You are so sleeping outside tonight"
"That was a good answer"
"That was a probability answer"
"Come on Kaia, what would he think of me if I said yes instatntly?"
Kaia had to admit, she had a point.
"You have a poin but your thinking about it ends now, its sorted. Tomorrow is monday, monday means school you will meet him in school you are so going to tell him you made up your mind, okay"
"Okay, now can I finish my smoothie without having to answer you every three seconds so we can leave"
"Finish up" Kaia tapped the table twice and continued to clean up.
