BLOOD BY THE HAND OF GUILT

Chapter Twenty Three

The next few days before executing out her plan saw her working day and night studying the Holy Books, about politics, current events within her country and of course gathering information on Adnan Fareed.

She had come to know that he was flying to New York earlier because he had a family in new York. An ex wife and a teenage son who worked part time tarining animals.

His name was Sid.

Sid was a slim kid who was like every other teenager was adjusting to becoming an adult. He was suddenly aware of his surroundings and the cause of his parents divorce. His father was a womanizer, a man who could not just look the other way when he saw a pretty woman....Good. Was Leia's first thought.

She had an easy stronghold, two actually.

It was a Wednesday afternoon and the summer holidays were far from over. It was pretty hot outside and New Yorkers took the opportunity to make the most of the sun. She was going to take the opportunity to make the most of her time too before the Sheik's son arrived in New York.

Leia put on an attractive flower coloured romper to make her appear a decade younger, and it worked perfectly for her. As she fixed her hair, she thought to herself and almost laughed;

'seriously Leia, are you really going to seduce a kid?....no dignity, no dignity at all.

Just like that she found herself singing to Dr. Dre, Blackstreet's 'No Dignity' and she hummed the tune all the way to a pet shop a few blocks away from her apartment.

"Hello" A very slim girl greeted her. She had big round green eyes and the perfect smile.

"Hi..." Leia smiled back.

"I want to get a puppy, can you help me pick one"

"Oh, sure, come with me"

Leia followed the girl to choose a puppy, and as soon as her eyes caught sight of a Portuguese Water Dog, she knew it was the one she needed.

"Well hello there" She crouched before the puppy and immediately it responded, standing on its hind legs and touching the cage with its fore in ana ttempt to reach her. It began to wag its tale.

"He's our most expensive breed" The girl said, taking the puppy out of the cage.

The puppy welcomed her with a wet lick.

"I'll take him"

"Umm, he costs 3000 dollars"

Leia smiled and repeated.

"I'll take him"

"Okay, hold on, I'll get my dad" The teenager said and run off to get her dad who finalized the process. Leia paid in cash had them personalize an ID tag with the name 'Dre' as it was the only thing she could think of when they asked what name she would like to give it.

She got him a collar too but that was given to her as a gift by the owner. He gave her the coutesy of choosing any collar she wanted. She picked a Louis Vuitton dog collar and walked out with her new puppy.

"Nice to meet you too Dre" She giggled as the dog licked her face. She cuddled it and continued on to her next stop.

Leia took a bus because she wanted to know New York more, it was a fun outdoor day for them both.

"Do you know what we are going to do today Dre?, We are going to find you a dog trainer"

The puppy barked.

"Yes we are....aint you so cute" Leia hugged the fur ball.

The soon arrived at their destination. WandaDog Inc. was a small company but a well known one in New York, and Adnan's son Sid was one of the best employees although the company was owned by his mother's boyfriend Nick. Sid loved his job, every single bit of it. After school hours saw him at WandaDog and his mother loved the idea of him becoming more responsible. Nick had suggested Sid come work for him after realizing he had a natural gift with dogs. Sid took his advice and became one of WandaDogs's best dog trainers.
