Lilac cotton candy clouds

Lilac cotton candy clouds. I watch them as they drift by, above my head. I wonder what it would feel like to be up there, watching everything from the perspective of a bird. I imagine it would be the ultimate feeling of freedom.

The answer I have been looking for since the first day my feet touched the grounds I am standing on right now. I would do anything to fly with those cotton candy clouds, just once. One moment would be enough for a lifetime but I need a few second in which I can let my thoughts go and watch them how they are carried away by the wind.

I feel something touching my hand. A warm feeling flows through my entire body as if the cold blood in my veins suddenly turned into a river of lava which could destroy an entire village within seconds. But it doesn’t burn me. It lightens the candle of hope in my heart when the warm blood gets there.

I turn around and see her face. The most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Her little freckles remind me of sparkling stars in the night. Her eyes are so deep and clear, they make me think of a river floating through a small forest. My second favourite place to be. The place I like the most is in her arms. They are my home. It’s where I belong.

Maybe I don’t even need to fly up to those cotton candy clouds which like to take the pastel colours I paint my pictures in. Maybe her eyes are high enough for me. I always get lost in them. It is as if the world around me starts to fade and I drift away to a place far, far away from here. When she holds my hand, we fly up to those lilac cotton candy clouds and even higher. She is the answer I was trying to find up there. She is my definition of freedom and home. She is all I could wish for, even with those magic cotton candy clouds which are painted in the colour of emotions, right above my head. Even though I’d love to touch those clouds, I’d rather touch her hand because she takes me where I hope the clouds would guide me to.
