REINA:
With a battle cry, Audrey threw herself into the fight. I felt a shock as I hadn't noticed her till now. She, with her long black hair out, two daggers in her hands, wove in and out of them. Where her blue blades drove in, blood shot out. Where they fell, Sarah caused mouths to open, swallowing them whole. Audrey jumped and dove, cut and bashed. Her face filled with a primal concentration, she cut through them as Huntor lashed out with his own sword. Sarah stood in her spot, causing holes to open and close. Aquilla had a lasso of water and spun, dragging Keepers into Sarah's grasp. I looked back to Huntor and saw Kitana, glowing with power, dance in and out of the Keepers. I felt more vibrations against my heels and turned, waiting for them, the two who came speeding through the trees. I stomped my foot hard and sent them down into a sinkhole almost as deep as a trench. Then, then there was a cold press against the back of my neck and I turned, calling, "SHit, Huntor." He paused, as if he felt it too. Then there was an explosion. No, not in front of us, not above us, but behind us, where the falls stood. Three horrible explosions right over the ark of waves. Aquilla screamed and clutched her head, as if it effected her. Anger and rage filled me and I dug my palms in the air and lifted them over my head and a huge rock was lifted out of the soil, as big as a truck. With a roar I threw it at the copter that hung low over the treetops. The bolder hit true and the copter spun out of control.
"Nice shot." Sarah yelled. She made a strange motion with her hands and the ice around them all shifted and began cracking. Huntor danced expertly over the ice, leaping over spikes as big as he was. He flipped his sword and it grew into a staff. I watched in awe as he jumped, planted the staff, and swung his body into the chest of a Keeper, his body becoming a club. He landed and another explosion rocked the world. Aquilla screamed and said, "SHit, shit, they're trying, whatever they have, it's, it's too much. They'll get in. I can't keep it up much longer." Huntor roared his outrage and a huge wave rose and smashed down, sinking Keepers and boats. For a moment, everything wa ssilent, for a moment we all breathed. I stepped towards them, putting one bare foot on the ice. Huntor sighed with relief and relaxed. Aquilla stared around as if confused, Audrey sheathed her blades. Then Sarah's head snapped up. "More." She called. I heard them too. Several more copters crested and hung over the trees. Their doors opened and Keepers stood, pointing weapons at us. "Too many." Huntor said. "Too many for Diana to take out." Even so, silver arrows were being shot into the air, and Keepers fell, clutching their eyes, their throats, any spot the arrows landed. For a moment, even after that, I believed it would be ok,  believed we'd win this. Then, there was a roar. On the other side of the river, Keepers ran through the trees and onto the ice.
How they'd gotten so close without meeting Kitana's fans was a question. But they were here, on the ice, surprising us. Huntor swore as he just raised his staff in time. Then there was another explosion, then another, then, another. "Stay strong Aquilla." Huntor shouted as he engaged three Keepers at once. Audrey was at his back, fighting two at once. Sarah danced and weaved, Kitana dropping from a tree and speeding over the ice to meet us. Diana stayed in the treetops. Then there was another explosion that rocked and destroyed the world. Aquilla screamed, a true broken scream, as if she was torn apart. I felt the shock of white hot pain in my head. I heard Audrey's scream of pain, Sarah's gasping shriek, Kitana's swearing, and knew, knew it was over. I turned to see where the Symbol stood, there was another explosion and the waterfall shattered like glass, spraying us all. Aquilla fell and her body glowed with a blue light. 'AQUILLA." Huntor shouted. "Huntor. Save them, get them out." Aquilla gasped, then her body melted into water, a puddle of water. Sarah pointed a finger and a small hole, the size of a penny appeared. The puddle moved and in a flash, was through the hole, and gone. Where the falls use to stand, was a smoking hole, and thee Leaders and Warriors stood fast, ready. There was a silence, a silence that stood as the Keepers saw, as they beheld, then they roared and they ran for it.
There was a roar from within, and I saw Wenzi, her eyes glowing with flames, run to meet the hoard. Huntor ran with Audrey and Sarah. I saw Kitana, now swinging a Japanese sword. I cursed myself for forgettign the daggers and the backpack. I saw Diana wielding her own blades and cursed again as I searched my person, and found them in hidden sheaths. I drew them and stabbed my way inside the Symbol. I saw two tall boys slashing with huge swords back to back. Two girls, the Jewel Twins, wielded strange lights. THey shot them into the Keeper army, punching them through as if they were punching them. Another girl, her long brown hair, so much like mine, flashed as she wove through the Keepers. I saw strange beasts appear near her, as if she called them to her. Then I heard a scream and saw Diana, who's body glowed with silver power, then she shifted, just shifted, first she was Diana, then she was a large wolf raging through the Keepers. Keepers screamed and tried to back out of her path. Then she was a serpent, a huge snake that lashed and cracked like a whip. She swung her armored head and took out several Keepers.
I joined the fight, slashing and dicing. I spun on my heel and using my momentum, drove my blade through the throat of a Keeper. One came running for me and I remembered how I jumped through the air and sent Huntor and myself to the ground. I jumped and aimed my daggers true as my feet crashed into the Keeper's stomach. I got up and slashed the Keepers around me, then moved deeper into the Symbol. There was a yell and I saw someone, one of our own, go down. i yelled for help, but Camille, that clever smart Camille that Huntor adored, flew over the heads of the Keeper and landed by the fallen Indigo. Then there was another scream and I saw Wenzi go down. rage, icy, icy cold rage, poured in me and I made my way to her. When I reached her side I saw her clutching her shoulder, a deep knife wound bleeding her out. "Can you stand? Fight?" Stupid question I know. Wenzi go tto her feet and bared her teeth. 'Bastards." She said it in such a way I watched, awestruck, as she healed her wound, then her palms glowed with fire. "Get clear." She hissed, then was gone.
I turned just as someone else screamed. Then Huntor's yell, "GALE." I tried to see hism, but there were too many Keepers, too many that hid him from me. I began to fight again and heard a boom. A door exploded open and Indigos, young Indigos, poured from it, screaming their rage and anger. I saw rather than felt, the telekinesis they shot from their fingers, saw the power roil in the air. I saw a girl, chin length black hair and glowing blue eyes bare her too sharp teeth and dive in front of Kitana. A second before she did, Kitana shouted in agony. I saw the girl with those sharp teeth dive and hiss at the Keepers. Then she tore into them, ripping them with a glee that scared me. She was a flash, zipping through them, flashing through them. I began to hope, began to feel, until she screamed herself, and there, there in her throat, were three long knives. She fell back, as if flinging her arms to defend Kitana, one last stand, to defend her friend. Her body exploded into she and the roar that Kitana admitted shook the ruined Symbol as she got to her feet, her blood mixing with the girl's and the Keeper's.
