Hello my readers, first, let me say that this novel was not only exciting to write, but was beautiful, stressful, intense, and just epic in all the right ways. I love writing, and enjoy writing for other people's entertainment. Indigo was a long novel to write, and was beatific in it's incandescence. I laughed, cried, and felt every emotion of my characters as the story progressed. Battle Scars made it even more intense, made me write even more, made me grow as an Author and a person. I loved many of the chapters in this book, some of my favorites were, chapter five, Unexpected. When Reina, and Huntor met. It made me laugh, because they were always rude and cruel to each other. They made fun of each other, and just didn't like each other. I loved how that grew more, and more.
Another was Fourteen through Nineteen. The way I started the battles, the way Reina, Huntor, Sarah, Audrey, and the other fought made me sit on the edge of my seat, just waiting for the next chapter to be published. Wow, listen to me, I sound like a reader, but it's true. I was so excited and just ready for more. Honestly, I loved all my chapters, some were better than others, but each built on it's predecessor. I enjoyed how I introduced Amelia, Becky, Hailey, and the Florida, SVU team. Yes, I got the idea from Law & Order. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Oh, also, don't worry, that wasn't the end of our Detectives and turncoat Lieutenant. They will be seen more in Bad Lands, the official title of our beautiful Indigo Quartet.
So, here's somethin gI will tell you all. As I wrote this series, as Battle Scars especially began to end, I came to a realization. Thie series, is never ending. I could end with the fourth book, which, I'm still trying to come up with the title, but, anyways, I could end it there, but, I'm, not. This series has too many cliff hangers, to many questions that have to be answered. Too many characters. This series, the overall series of the Indigo, will continue after the fourth book. As of right now, I believe that there will be three series of the Indigo, first series, Indigo Quartet, then, Half-Blood Quartet, then, End, Of, The, World. As of right now, that will be the first three of the Indigo series. I'm hoping there will be more after that. Each series will have four books, naturally, and will build with intensity. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I will enjoy writing it.
Another bomb to drop, I will be getting the first book, "Indigo" officially published on July 31ST. There will be some added sections to certain chapters, but, I'm letting you all know that this series, will be officially on the market. Also, there will be audiobooks to go with each of them. I am just as excited to have this book, this novel, this journey on the market for the world to read. I cannot wait for the world to be able to finally read, and listen to what I have down, to what I created. Battle Scars will be on the market months later. I hope you all are as excited as I am for this. Hopefully by that point, I'll have started writing Bad Lands. Let me think, as I sit here, I'm thinking if there's anything else I wanna put in here. Ah, before i close this down, chapter Sixty-Six, Battle Scars. A lot of people have asked me where do my titles come from, what's the meaning behind them? In this novel, "Battle Scars" revolved around the Indigos as a whole, that they'd have to live with scars from their pasts, from who they were before, and handle new scars, scars from battle, from their own internal beings, from obstacles that they'd have to overcome. Huntor bore those scars, perhaps more than most of them, not only that, but in order for him to access his true power, to be able to truly become an Indigo-God, he had to be broken. The only way for him to be broken, was for his closest friend, his lover, his sister, to die. Audrey Kylie, who was the world to Huntor, who fought beside him, who saved him, as many times as he saved her. When her death came, It broke him, destroyed the humanity in him, and brought out the Indigo-God. I hope you enjoyed this book as much, or more than I did. This was intense, powerful, beautiful, sad, and just, everything under the sun to me. I cannot wait until Bad Lands start.
