Joeys POV
The sky is painted with yellows, pinks, and oranges as we walk to the next destination.
It's nearly freezing but Daniel is holding me close so I am not as cold as I would be. "Daniel?" I ask, looking up at the taller, older boy.
"Yes baby?" He says in response, rubbing my arm. "What do you have in that bag?" I say, my hand brushing against his chest as I touch the black bag slung around his shoulder.
"Stuff" He says, shrugging his shoulder. He looks straight ahead, not daring to make eye contact with my now pouting face.
"Oh" I say, my voice dropping and my grip loosening around his waist.
He slowly looks down at me and tilts my head up. "You'll find out when we get there" he coos gently. I nod my head and he presses his soft lips to mine.
After a little bit of walking I look up at him once again, "the beach?" I ask. "Ding ding ding!" He says, pinching my nose. We both laugh a little before he leads me into the dense sand.
He opens the back pack and pulls out a blanket. He throws the blanket over the sand and tosses a pillow down too. "Come on" He says, getting down on the blanket with open arms.
I sit down on the blanket and let him embrace me. His warmth radiating into me as the chilling wind passes through my hair.

We walk home together, the sky completely dark blue now. Stars are sprinkled all over the sky and the street lights dimly light up the empty sidewalk.
I check my phone and it's currently two in the morning so if my brother is awake he will actually kill me.
"I had a lot of fun" I whisper to him, looking up at him with bright eyes. "I did too" Daniel says in response, humming gently as we walk slowly.
"Do you want to stay over?" I ask him, still looking up. I nibble on my bottom lip, smiling after.
He nods his head and smiles back, embracing me into his chest. I nuzzle into his chest, the cold blowing against my bare face.
"You look so cute" Daniel says to me gently, leaning down and kisses my forehead softly. "Stop" I giggle and start squirming. He picks me up, bridal style, and I kick my feet.
I wrap my arms around his neck and he picks up his pace.
After 10 minutes of walking we are in front of my house. All the lights are off so I immediately assume that Andrew is sleeping.
I unlock the door and Daniel opens it for me. There sits Andrew, with his phone in his hand waiting for me. I just roll my eyes and tap Daniel's shoulder so he lets me down.
"Yes 'father'?" I say in a mocking tone.
"Where the fuck have you been?" Andrew whisper yells.
"Riding unicorns off into the sunset! what does it look like I was doing? Going on a date with my boyfriend" I say rather harshly.
"Boyfriend?" He says back, looking at Daniel then back at me. "When did this happen?"
"I mean..." I start tripping over my own words.
"Tonight, if it was any of your business" Daniel adds on.
"Well-" Andrew opens his mouth to make a smart remark.
"Save it. I don't want any of your attitude at two in the morning. Now if you don't mind I'll be taking my boyfriend up stairs to go to bed. Goodnight" I say. I take Daniels hand and stomp up the stairs.
I turn down the hallway to go into my room. My walls covered in panic! posters and the scent of smoke haunts the air. Seems a little more 'emo' when I think of it.
It's funny how someone so bad can make you feel so good, I think to myself. I shut the wooden door and turn on the ceiling light.
"Oh you like it with the lights on?" Daniel teases.
"Well I wanna see what I'm doing so yes" I say back, putting my hands on my hips.
We both laugh a little before I take off my shirt to change into pjs. Daniel takes my wrists and looks at me.
I look back up at the taller boy, smiling weakly. He places soft kisses along the healing scars on my pale skin. I lift his face to meet mine and kiss him gently.
He picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. He lays me down on my bed and helps me take off my pants.
"Baby it's late, let's just go to bed" I say to him. He nods and turns off the light.
I'm guessing he took off his clothes as well so we are both in our underwear. He climbs into the bed, pulling me close. He lifts the blanket over us and I settle my head into his chest.
Rain gently splashes against the closed window as the sound of Daniels slow breathing helps me drift off to sleep.
"I love you" Daniel mumbles because he is half asleep.
"I love you too" I say a little quieter, falling asleep a few seconds later.

HELLO FRIENDS. So like I know I haven't been updating at ALL but you knOw I'm trying. So my school went on strike so I have to make up those days so school carries on until the 25th of June. That's irrelevant and I have no excuse for not updating in months. But a lot of drama happened between me and my best friend of 10 years. (noTed that I am only 14 lmAo) So I was focusing on that for a while. Well we aren't just best friends we are also dating now but that's irrelevant, kinda. The drama was he was having trouble choosing a girl hut obviously he chose me! AnywAy if I do update again this month I'll be surprising myself tbh. I have a lot of work to do for school and stress isn't helping at all. Even though ideas are running short for this book I'll just try to push though for a little longer. Sadly I don't think that there will be any other books after this one, which I'm planning on making another 10-20 chapters for. I'm not 100% sure yet but my stans have changed a lot. So be expecting a lot of different people showing up because I'm watching more people now. Anyway if you read all of this I love you. See you guys next chapter. Maybe? Okay bYe
