The following afternoon, a Sunday afternoon, after being up all night finishing the desserts and spending the morning getting the last of the decorations, Manny was now finishing the last of her makeup and doing her hair.
Manny got dressed while listening to Bryce singing along to a song out in the living room as he was waiting on her. Bryce was rapping along to the song, but when it ended he knew it was time for him and Manny to leave.
"Manny. You ready?" He called out, pushing up the sleeves of his long sleeved grey shirt. He walked into the back hallway and stopped at her bedroom door to see her grabbing her purse.
Manny was dressed in a black crop top but had a maroon skirt pulled up over her belly and meeting her top. She had her hair flatironed and a face full of makeup. She was wearing heels, but was also putting sandals into her purse.

"Come on, beauty queen." Bryce smirked. "Looking beautiful as always."
Manny flipped her hair over her shoulder while coming towards him. "Thank you." She smirked.
Bryce took her hand and lead her out of the house and off to his car. They walked to his car and got in so they wouldn't be late. The two drove to the venue where Manny's mom Kiara had booked for the baby shower and already saw people walking inside carrying their gifts.
Bryce parked the car at the front doors to let Manny out so she didn't have to walk that far. Manny got out and started to walk inside when she heard a car horn honk behind her. She turned around and smiled seeing Ethan hopping out of Diego's truck.
"Hello, mi amor." Ethan smiled, walking up to Manny and kissing her cheek before rubbing his hand over her baby bump.
Manny gasped seeing him. "What're you doing here? You're suppose to be..."
"Locked up?" Ethan wondered, chuckling. "Lied and said I was going to a funeral. Anyway, look what the team got you."
Manny looked at the truck and saw Stephen, Andrew, Jose, and Jacob going into the flatbed and taking out piles of diapers. She watched the boys worked like an assembly line to bring them inside. At the bottom of the pile, Manny gasped seeing Diego jump from under the heavy layer of diaper packs that were on top of him. He had in his arms five packs of baby onesies, each pack having three onesies.
Diego hopped out of the flatbed and smiled to her. "Hey, baby girl. Happy baby shower."
Manny stared in awe as they carried the rest of the diapers inside. "This must've been so expensive!"
Diego shrugged his shoulders as he walked behind Stephen and Andrew inside the party. "It's alright. Good cause."
Manny rolled her eyes as she met her mom as they walked inside the heavily pink decorated party. There were pink balloons, pink table cloths, and pink decorations everywhere.
