My heart is hurting
My head conflicted
Conflicted by pros and cons
Conflicted by words and actions
Actions that made me disappointed
Actions that made me fall
Fall for you
Fall away
Away from your heart
Away from doubt
Doubt that I am enough
Doubt that you care
Care for me as I you
Care about anyone but you
You, with words so beautiful
You, with a mind so strong
Strong enough to lock me out
Strong to not need anyone
Anyone in your life is hassle
Anyone can cause you pain
Pain like before
Pain that caused fear
Fear lies in me too
Fear of failing
Failing again as a partner
Failing at love
Love wasn't enough
Love couldn't hold
Hold my family together
Hold me closely now
Now that I am sad
Now that I am weak
Weak to still want you
Weak to want to try
Try to fix this
Try to break the silence
Silence is so loud
Silence tells me it all
All that I need to know
All I can do is look forward
Forward to a better time
Forward to someone
Someone who makes this small
Someone who helps me grow
Grow into a better person
Grow into my life
Life is so short
Life goes so quick
