Style Type: Zeugmarroy
Zeugmarroy poems consist of either one or two, five lines stanzas.
Some (more than one word) of the first line is repeated in the last line of that stanza.
Each stanza must include a zeugma phrase that is using one word to modify two other words, in two different ways. e.g.
"She broke his car and his heart."
"I lost my keys and temper."
"He took his hat and leave"
"I found you and love"
"He said shut up and stay"
"I drank her in and to her"
Lines three and four of each stanza must share an internal rhyme and assonance (the repetition of vowel sounds in words) should dominant.
A three rhyme pattern is used but if two stanzas are used the third lines of each may use a different rhyme.
aa(b)b(b)cc [aa(d)d(d)cc]
There is no meter, syllable or
word count requirement.
