He and She
When the moon climbs up high
And the stars start to sigh
He strolls in my mind
And she makes my heart grind
I hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign
They barge in nonetheless
And like some children in a playhouse
They leave me in a mess
I think he's an engineer
As he works my mind's gear
While she must be a lovely artist
Who makes my puzzles weird
She's an emotional nerd
He, a clever fool
But who am I to complain
They're students of my own school
He's my noisy thought
She's my silent feeling
Their hobby is to trouble me
And more often it's when I'm sleeping
But when he starts to feel
And she starts to think
They stop the wheels of time
To cast an eternity in a blink
That's when they're the worst
When they both so innocently wink...
