The Apology

I looked at Lauren who was walking around the park in awe usually no girl is this excitwd when I say the park. Yet there is Lauren looking around taking pictures of the scenery enjoying the park like I enjoy it here. I walked up to her while she took her picutre, I tapped her back and she turned around.

"Oh hey there Romeo didn't see you here", she said.

"No worries I see you are already enjoying the park"

"Yeah this park is gorgeous I can be here all day just as long as it isn't freezing yah know"

"Yeah the cold isn't the best but in the spring and summer it's even more beautiful like you but really nothing could compare to you", I told her and her cheeks began turning red.

"Thank you I didn't know you saw me as beautiful"

"Of course I did how could someone not see it", I answered

"Well a bunch of people just look at my stomach and well you probably know how that ends very very wonderful I'm this disappointment like at the restaurant"

"Most of them shouldn't even been judging cause I know they have done lots of things and nothing compares to the compassion or determination you have you gave up everything you had in Miami for a child and you didn't give it up. You moved here started a new life to give her chance you are a very determined woman because you still work on a high school education no matter the obstacles. Our small group sees that we know you're trying I know that we will never let you give up especially me I won't let you go down easily", I told her, she didn't take her eyes off of me even when she had tears coming down her face,

"You are truly amazing I don't know what I did to get you in my life thank you you yave been here with me since day one besides Mila and her family I'm so grateful", she answered me signaling for a hug I hugged her tightly. It was one of the most amazing hugs I felt a connection happen there never in my life have I felt that.

"Me too me too this beginning of this friendship is one of the best"

"I know ita pretty out here and we are in a sweet moment but can we go to my apartment then cold isn't the best thing for me or the baby", she asked me and I nodded. We walked all the way to her apartment which was luckily close by because neither of us have a car. She unoocked the door and turn the lights on we walked into her place which looked slightly different from when I first visited her.

"Come on in it's about to get warm in here just give the heater a second if not I got warm blankets give me a second tho I'm just gonna get into something warmer", she said as she took off her coat and walked to her room.

"Alright no rush I got time", I said taking off my coat I had on, I watched her walk into her room  that girl has a booty. I sat in her couch feeling the warmth hitting me for a teen mom she has her life pretty well together but who knows on the inside how it feels.

"Much better jeans are just not my best friends like before but pjs are everything so you wanna do?", she asked me taking a seat next to me.

"I just wanted to get to know you better and for you to know me too so were not strangers who see each other everyday"

"Well there isn't much to me I'm just a chill person, I like reading and writing, I love dancing and I also love being with people sometimes I'm rebellious and that got me into trouble. I didn't leave Miami just because my parents told me but because me going back there is dangerous"

"If you don't mind me asking but why?", I asked.

"My boyfriend took me to places where he did dealings they saw me there he's wanted by them but I don't know anything about him he left like a magician they tried once with me but I was quick I have small intel there that tell me what's going on I'm just waiting for this idiot to appear and deal with it... I won't be returning because I'm already here it would be dumb but at least vacationing there", she explained to me I already didn't like him but now I hate him.

"Ohh", I responded honestly I really don't know what to say.

"Don't look at me differently don't think I am him or them because I am not them don't be like my parents and assume I'm some criminal all of a sudden because I never was or will be them", she said tearing up.

"Take it easy I'm not leaving and I am not changing my mind on you", I pulled her close and hugged her.

"Thanks you", she whispered "I'd just wish everyone else would see it like you or I could not listen/ see fifty billion remarks a day but I made my decision which I'm sticking too"

"You're welcome, one day one day you'll be able to prove them wrong", I told her to reassure her I know she needed that.

"Hopefully they can see it soon enough, I miss having what I once had back when I had my mom to talk to or not being so secretive to call my family this is something I am not used having", she told me with more tears falling down.

"You may not have them but you have us here and my family who may or may not know about you", I told her and she looked at me confused but blushing.

"I don't know how you are even putting up with me honestly I don't mean to be like this ,but your family knows me?"

"I have mentioned you before you to them plus my brothers nothing doesn't come out to light", she laughed a bit putting a smile on her face "That is that smile the one I love to see on you"

"Stopp a smile isn't nothing"

"Its everything because when its real its relief to all of us", I told her and her smile grew even more. The moment was good until my family started calling and texing me.

"You might wanna answer that before we have cops probably looking for you", she said and I laughed.

"Ma?"

"Donde estas no haz llegado no contestas las llamadas los emails a la casi son las 10:30", she said concerned.

I'll see you later", I said walking home out.

"No problem I'll always be here to help see you till next time", he said and he walked out I closed the door. I sat back down and looked one more time at the list then I noticed one name I overlooked before.

It was Luna like moon, it took me back to the night I took the test I got the test in the day waited until the night.
