The Move

The alarm went off Lauren groaned grabbing her phone, it was Monday already well she went to sleep on Monday. She got up and pulled out a random pair of jeans, longsleeve shirt ,and a pair of black Converse. She didn't do much to her hair because it looked descent enough to step out go to school and rock the "I Woke Up Like This" look. She grabbed her back pack and put away her school things and headed to the kitchen for food and preparing snacks for school. After eating she brushed her teeth and washed face it was time to finally head out the door. Camila was walking up the door steps when she was walking out, so she simply followed along with the project they had done.

"It's so earlyyyy how am I gonna make it another semester", I said dramatically.

"The vacation and early get out ticket I am pretty sure you are gonna get", Camila responded and I laughed.

"Oh yeah I forgot about that"

"Yeah but spring break is like in 2 weeks and we can have fun its like 2 weeks for us", Camila said and I just staired.

"You serious YESSSSS girl I am so ready", I yelled and she laughed.

"If the weather is good its gonna be fun middle of March is usually nice"

"Cool I might go visit Miami cause I miss home"

"But what about staying somewhere or your parents"

"I got money and well things might be looking in the clear", I smiled like I haven't in awhile.

"Ouu well take me with you", she said and I laughed.

"Alright"

We walked into school and headed straight to class that bell was ringing and I didnt wanna start no tardy streak. The class started like usual and the day passed like any other day before I knew it school was over and it was time to go home. I waited for everyone out the entrance, until they got here and we walked out together. All of us lived on the same block so one by one we entered our houses. I was about to enter when I saw there was a sign on the front door saying that I needed to go to the office because my apartment had problems. I first went to my aunts house so she could come with me I'm still a minor so any legal matters I need my aunt to be there to sign for me. We walled into the office almost instantly the landlord came out to talk.

"Hello Mrs. Cabello and Ms. Jauregui come into my office", we walked in and took a seat.

"So what was the note about", I asked.

"Well the apartment you got was not supposed to be given since it was being saved for another client who is arriving like in a day but your original apartment is available and we were wondering if you could please move into there and we will help you with the moving process there will be no difference to your rent and it is only two houses down from where you live", she explained and I nodded.

I didn't even realize that was the apartment this wasn't the one I wanted I iust though the size was off.

"Can I see it before I move in so I know how to my stuff", I asked and she pulled the keys.

"Come on let's me give you the tour", she said, we followed her to my spon to be new apartment.

She opened the door too a nice open space with two rooms in the bottom along with a bathroom, closet, and laundry room. I have a washer and drier now this is amazing because I had a lot of clothes that needed to be washed. I went upstairs to see there was two rooms and a bathroom in between the rooms. There was also a big open space for whatever I wanted to put. It was the one I wanted to actually have even though my other one was nice, I'm paying same price so I choose this.

"Now this is one I can see it being mine now and feeling like home. This is definitely a sleep over house and for my child", I said walking downstairs.

"Well all we have to do is resign some papers and we call our staff to help you pack up your place", the landlord said and we walked back to the office.

"¿No sube la renta? ¿Y se queda todo los electrodomésticos?", my aunt asked.

"No subirá para nada y se queda con todo menos los sofás y las camas", she said and I did a happy dance internally.

We signed the papers, I went home and began packing everything in my room while my tia tackled the kitchen for me. Camila came to help to along with the movers who moved the heavy things for us. This was some how all gonna be done before tomorrow probably because I didn't have a lot of things. If we finish late then I just won't go to school tomorrow just for the sake of me and my baby.

Once we were finally done Camila and her mom left it was 1 in the morning and I was tired. The movers walked out and I went upstairs to my bed and passed out on the bed.

{"You got the other tests", I said and Lucy passed me them.

"Girl obviously I did obviously I'm here for you", she pulled out a bag of chips with soda.

"I took two test last night but they were cheap so probably they're fake", I said and then I read the instructions to make sure it was no difference.

"Who knows two positive could be real if these come back positive then you must", she said and I groaned," Dont get mad at me Ms. Jauregui because you know I'm just being real"

"okay I'll be right im super nervous", I walked into the bathroom and I waited for the results negative, positive,"Im confused yes or no"

"hello baby im your aunt and Lauren is way too stubborn", Lucy said to my stomach and rubbed.

"I can't im in shock im so happy and sad Mario left me but I have a child in me and school what the heck am I gonna do I love school I can't just quit it and my parents what do I do", I said.

"Relax we'll find out later", she said we laid on my bed and just relaxed, who knows what this new change will be like. After a while I got up and got rid of the tests I had to avoid anyone knowing until I have a slight idea of what to do. Lucy seemed to not understand the impact this has or anything instead she wants me to ignore it and just relax.

"Lucy time for you to go home", I said to her and she just looked at me.

"Fine see ya later Jauregui",she bit her lip and left out of my room.

Once she left I took a shower and went to sleep.}

I woke up it was already 10 in the morning and I was barely waking up, I slept threw my alarms and just missed school. Who knew I was that tired, I got up and began fixing up my apartment first of with the guest room I fell asleep in. After setting it up I went to my room and seperated my clothes from clean and dirty. 

Slowly after some time the apartment began looking like home downstairs, I made a photshoot, video filming, and editing area in the second room. The living room was also set very minimal not much work needed just the slight moving of the couch and tv. The kitchen was tackled last night all I needed was upstairs.

Back at Miami 

"Oh no oh yes. What the heck", Clara held the pregnancy test in her hands, "I yelled at Lauren I kicked her out and now I'm pregnant"

"Wait what did you say?", Mike walked in concerned, she held the test up," No.... yess"

"What are we gonna do? I wanted to apologize you know now I seem like a hypocrite", Clara broke down into tears.

"Well first of all we are gonna keep it we're grown and already handled 3 babies plus you know how we do it second you can still  apologize Lauren is very accepting she might be mad but she moves on quick", Mike said holding her.

"Yeah if it ain't dirty no es la vidaaa", she said laughing through the tears.

"Did you call her today?", she shook her head "Call her tomorrow it is late unless you see her active online"

They opened their computer and saw just what they hoped she was still active on her social media. Clara picked up the phone and dialed the number.

"Hello Lauren"

"MOM?!"
