"So all we are waiting for is your discharged papers Lauren Jauregui", the nurse said nicely.
"Thank you so I can begin getting ready to leave?", I asked.
"Yes you can", she walked out and I got out of the bed.
I was in still in the gown because I had a mini check up before I could leave right now it was just Luna and me. Everyone else went out while I was getting the check up so that way they could get to house ready. I grabbed a set of stretchy legging and a v-neck long sleeve sweater then I headed to the bathroom. I didn't want to leave to my little girl alone so I brought her right next to the bathroom and left the door open. She was just moving around and was kind of talking bit.
"You happy you are going home aren't you ha", I said picking her up "you ready to not have doctors around you and ready to explore babygirl."
She obviously couldn't respond to me but I kept playing with her, I also got her dressed in a cute little warm one piece. She was so beautiful I can't believe I gave birth to her it is crazy I am so happy. Obviously a little part of me is a little bummed because her dad will probably never see or will never want to I can't change nothing so I have accepted it.
"We brought back the car seat" my mom said walking in.
"Okay let me feed her quickly before we get the discharge papers", I said taking a sit on the couch in the room.
My dad walked in and set the crib on my bed, my mom helped put away everything I left here. It wasn't a lot but it was at a good moment because after I was done feeding Luna we got the discharge papers. I burped her and she spit up some of the milk on my t-shirt, I laughed a little because this was just the beginning of the process. We set her in the car seat she was not to ready for this because she was crying loudly.
"Lulu everything is going to be okay we got to get home remember how excited you were", I said wiping her face from the spit up.
"There you go already using them mama super powers", my dad said to my mom.
"Yeah she is already becoming a professional so fast", my mom said teary eyed.
The nurse came with a wheel chair I chose not to sit on it because I was about to get in the car and sit for a while. Luna was on the wheel chair and it was the cutest thing because she was happy again.
"Alright Lauren and Luna take it easy and have a nice day", the nurse said.
"Thank you so much you too", I said.
My parents had already set up the little bottom part of the car seat then I put Luna in and I got in next. My parents were front seat while I was with little Luna taking billions of pictures of her being so calm. She fell asleep on the way home while we talked about baby things I was learning from them all I could get before they left.
Once we got home my dad got the car seat and took Luna is inside trying to be as quiet as possible. I took out my hospital bags and my mom grabbed the baby backpack for me we walked in everyone helped up with the stuff.
"Luna you are home now", I said taking her out the car seat, I set her on my chest and let her sleep.
"She is so beautiful she reminds me a lot of you as a baby", my dad said sitting next to me.
"Yeah she is a mini me I am still processing her existence like I have a baby"
"That is right now wait until you are like shoot I have a baby", my dad said and I laughed.
"Or when she wanna start dating", I said.
"Yeah but good thing she is just a baby, she has the exact dark curly hair you had as a baby it is so cute"
"Yeah I can't wait until all her curls begin to really show it is going to be super cute" I said.
"Hey Lauren you want to eat?", Romeo asked.
"Yes I am actually really hungry, Chris can you get the little baby cushion I have so I could put Luna in the couch? It is in Luna's room you'll see it when you enter immediately"
"Yeah", he ran up the stairs then he came back with the little bed I put her in and then I wrapped the blanket around her.
"Here I already fixed your plate so you could eat", Romeo set my plate on the island.
"Thank you Romeo you don't know how much of a blessing you are", I said then I began eating.
After I finished eat we all sat in the living room talking and watching tv Luna was awake and being passed all over the place. It looked like she was really enjoying it though well until she had a full diaper. My mom was the one who had her and she changed it with no hesitation thankfully.
"I am so exhausted I am ready to sleep", I said.
"You should go get sleep I'll watch her for you she isn't going to be hungry for a while", my mom said.
"Really that would be nice", I said.
"Yeah go get sleep honey so that way you can handle the late night with her", she said and I ran up to my room.
I didn't waste my time in getting to ready I just changed into my pjs and I jumped in my bed.
** No POV.
"Lauren is so tough look she fought hard and in the end she got the cutest reward", Romeo said. Lauren's family and Romeo sat in the living room talking after she had left to sleep.
"Yeah she was always passionate about having kids I know she is going to continue to push through because it doesn't get easier just yet", Mike said.
"True but I know she will get through it", Clara said.
"I will make sure to help her as much as I can Luna kind of feels like my child slightly", Romeo said and everyone awed.
"You two will be good at it just don't stress too much when things get harder you can always call us for advice", Clara said.
