Stand By Me

Lauren POV

After a week of being here it is tomorrow we go back to New York, although I don't want to leave I miss New York. Right now I also feel a little more comfortable In New York since I am not so well known there. Anyways today's plans are to go to beach since there is a beach party going on.

Currently me and Romeo have been more close after all that had gone on I got closer to him. Of course I got close to the rest but not like him it was different with him also it was more with a love connection. We are actually right now on my bed relaxing together while everyone else is off in different directions.

"What should I expect from this party?", Romeo asked.

"A lot of dancing getting in the water high amounts of adults watching us and probably weird encounters with my old friends", I said.

"When should we get ready for this party and what should I wear" he asked.

"Something you can swim in and dance comfortably", I told him and he nodded.

Time had passed and it was time for us to all go obviously my parents were joining us to make sure nothing happened to us. I put on a really stretchy one piece that made my belly look a little bit bigger yet it was so comfortable.

"Woah", I said walking out of my room seeing Romeo shirtless.

"Never seen a guy with a six pack?", he asked jokingly.

"Yeah just not you and now I think life is complete", I said and he laughed.

"Don't stare too much honey you might be blinded haha", we both laughed.

"Look at that he is shirtless today six pack", Solange said looking at me "move to slow and I'll make him mines"

"Got the hint and he aint finna be yours", I said and we all laughed.

"Ship has taken sail alert SHIP HAS TAKEN SAIL", Solange said and everyone clapped.

"Everyone ready?", my mom yelled out and everyone walked of their rooms all ready to leave.

We got in the car I was slightly nervous I didn't know who was going to actually be there. I stopped that real quick when whoever had the aux was playing music it was instead the party before the party. When we arrived I took a deep breath and reminded myself everything would be okay because I have real friends now. We walked to the beach happily like the best squad ever then we became normal people at a party.

Everything was fine until I saw my ex best friend flirting with Romeo I felt the anger building. I decided to see what would happen how far it would get but it didn't last long because she turned around and left with the face of hard rejection.

"That girl was something else", Romeo said approaching me.

"Yeah she is alway busy trying to flirt with everyone what best friend I had", I sighed.

"She was your best friend I can't believe... well the persistence was there", he said and I laughed.

"We were not really alike but we were there for each other most of the time she messed up big time tho thats a story for later", I said.

"Oh" he said and the song changed he looked at me then said , "Ms.  Jauregui can I have this dance?"

I nodded, we went to the little dance area and he waited to hear the best a little bit then we began dancing.

The moment was super sweet cause we both could dance well even with a big belly in the way. Our friends were watching recording and applauding just like I expected we were becoming a big ship. It was so fun because later my friends joined us in dancing to a bunch of Pitbul's songs. We even taught them how to dance along to Celia Cruz how could we not she is the biggest thing to Latinos.

The party slowly died down and turned to beach bonfire with lots of delicious s ore it was all good to Lucy approached Romeo again.

"So New York you got anyone special in your life", she said taking a seat next to him.

"Yeah I do she's the beautiful girl with green eyes I met like 3 months ago.", he said it was dark so she really couldn't see me.

"Nice to bad she isn't here", she leaned in try to kiss him and I smacked her.

"Actually she is right on his side idiota", I said and she gasped looking at me.

"What are you doing here arent you supposed to in New York tryna get yo shi together and peeing every second", she said now looking at me.

"No I got it together at least I aint tryna kiss a guy who dont like me I am just having for my spring break", I told her.

"Hmm well last time I noticed I ain't pregnant and with someone who isn't the dad tryna make someone else a dad", she said and I laughed. 

"Who said she was making me play dad and god forbid she move in from an abusive relationship", Romeo said before I could say anything," If I'm with her it is because I want to and I am willing to accept no matter her condition"

"This place is so fun", Beyoncé joined us not knowing what was going on.

"Oh and she brought another pregnant girl another big oops", Lucy said tryna act tough.

"What the heck you don't even no me boo I suggest you be quiet before you regret those words", Beyoncé shot back not even playing obviously she was not going to let herself neither was I.

"Maybe like your regret of not using-", before she finished that statement I smacked her in the face again. She ran off angrily to another group of people who were laughing and telling her how it was her fault. 

"You guys ready to call in a night?", I asked them we were all sitting together near the fire.

"Yeah we gotta fly back tomorrow", Jay said , "Hopefully we can comeback soon I love it here"

"It has been one of the best spring breaks here", Beyoncé added.

"And I got to take down Normani and see her change here", Solange said and everyone laughed. 

"It had little downs but it has been so amazing I'm glad you were all able to come with me and have one of the best ttimes of my life", I said and they awed.

"We leave here a stronger squad with the coolest spring break", Camila said.

"Yess I am so glad we all were here together I haven't had this type of fun in a long time thanks", Romeo said.

My parents then called us over to leave, we all got up and left back home.
