We Need Sleep

It was night time so we had to set down two babies one that wakes up every few hours and one that can sleep most of the night. Never in my life did I expect for this to happen so quick. They were both pretty easy I set Luna in the swing next to me while Romeo got Santiago in his bed. We were not going to sleep yet because it was pretty early just that babies sleep more.

"I never realized 9 month olds are a little harder to get to sleep but he is out", Romeo said.

"Yeah he's probably trying to get used to it he doesn't find his older surroundings", I said and his son started crying.

"I think I should spend the night with him because he recognizes me", he said.

"Alright I am going to watch some t.v. and then head up to bed", I said and he went to his room. He had the door open so he could see tv trying to act like he was right next to me it was too funny.

"So he has to be with his baby and he is trying to watch tv with his girlfriend at the same time, so cute. Get you a man like this take care of a child and be with you", I said putting him in snapchat with a disclaimer, "Heyy by the way it his first night here and he wants to make sure he is comfortable also be there like so he wont be scared just in case yall wanna say his isnt taking care of his kid"

"Smart one Lauren watch the world trhow theur opinions on our very bad parenting", he said.

"Yeah but lets just watch some tv and enjoy this time together with our babies", I said looking at Luna before she woke up out of nowhere.

"Mommy duties call", Romeo said and I side eyed him.

She didn't want to sleep in a swing, instead she wanted to sleep on top of me luckily it still let me watch tv. I was about to go to our room anyways to get ready to sleep it and she loves her crib, I just don't like leaving her up there alone.

"Alright Romeo I am going to go up and to sleep with this one goodnught you have a tv un your room", I said.

"Don't go baby we can all sleep in the same bed tonight", he said.

"Yeah two babies that doesn't work out you'll see me tomorrow", I said.

"Be happy I'm tired goodnight", he said.

"Goodnight", I blew him a kiss and went upstairs.

Next Day / Romeo POV

We slept pretty well but dang now I see it is harder with kids when you have to aware of someone more than normal. It isn't the same with Luna because Lauren has her more but now with Santiago he is my focus. I won't lie I am exhausted but may little boy looks so good I dressed him well and he was excited for the day.

Lauren was already making breakfast when I was getting out of my room, I don't have much food to give my son yet so today I need to get my paycheck and buy him all the necessary things. So I have to fees him by outting him on a chair holding him while kneeling.

"Poor baby and son hopefully today we can get him what he needs", Lauren said looking at us.

"Yeah we pick up my paycheck and then we can go to get him spoiled", I said and she laughed.

"He looked good today you ready to leave we gotta go in a bit", she said.

"No I'm not I haven't eaten yet", I said, I didn't realize she made my breakfast to go, we had five minutes.

"Put him in his stroller I got your breakfast, I kind of assumed we weren't going to eat today here luna was having a fit today", she said and I laughed.

"Alright got my backpack and you are going in your stroller", I said to him and he respomded with 'eh'.

"Looks like he mught be a rebel", she was putting Luna into her stroller, and I was doing the same and he was not so willing like he knew what we were doing.
