New Friends

I miss one day and I miss out on ome of the biggest assignments of the week, like people say miss one day 3 fights, Tupac is alive and Rihanna at your school. The bigger problem is Normani missed too and now we must partner up and do it before tomorrow 4rth period. 

"So do you wanna do this project my house or yours because no place is gonna allow us to do science experiments in their place", I said chuckling.

"Do you have lots of comotion in your place?", Normani asked.

"I live alone so nope my place is just a slight mess since I just moved in but it shouldn't bother our work", I responded.

"Then we'll do it at your place cause my house is way too alive and distracing", she said slightly laughing.

"Alright well ask your parents first and if they yes tell me at lunch or just text me", I handed her a paper with my number.

"Okay and thanks for making this quick cuase tardy sweep is about to catch us", she said and we walked out separate ways.

Then it was off to 5th period which for English for me, it is one of my favorite subjects. I have always loved reading and writing it is like therapy for me. This was the class that I had the highest grade which is the best part about it.

Today though I can only think about lunch and food cause Im starving. My daughter is kicking for the food and I'm tryna focus but the kicks hurt slightly but they make me happy. Time passed slowly but soon enough it was lunch and I was out to eat lunch happily. I lined up into the lunch line, then I noticed behind me was Normani and all my friends too who I already missed the day I was gone.

"Hiiiii guyyysss oml I missed you all I know its been a day", I said to them and they all laughed.

"Girl it's boring with out you we missed you tooo", Beyonce said and I smiled.

"So Normani have your parents said anything?", I asked Normani, I didn't want to exclude her cause that would of been cold.

"Yeah they said it is fine just to eat something after school", she responded.

"That wont be no problem I got plenty of food at my place", I said and then I began picking my lunch.

"Ok see you afterschool", she said, she isnt as mean as I thought she's probably nice by force. I went my way to the usual spot we sit and my friends joined me like usual.

"Normani just talked to you with about being a total snob", Bey said shocked and I laughed.

"She has a project to do with me I guess she don't risk her assignments but if she is nice I'll be nice no need to make this hard, hopefully it continues.

After school

I waited for a while and Normani came with what looks to be a backpack full of stuff, it looked heavy way to heavy for me.

"Need some help there?", I asked her.

"Please only if you dont have a lot to carry", she responded, I got some of the books and then my friends joined me.

"We walk home by the way Mani cause its close and no one has car here", I said and she chuckled.

"The New York life", she said and we began walking together.

"Why didn't you go to school yesterday Lauren?", Romeo asked me.

"I was moving my landlord gave me the wrong house and finally realized it one month later", I answered him.

"Cool where is it?"

"Two houses down from my first place one house away from you and two farther from Mila, three houses away from Bey, I paid attention this morning when I walked", I answered

"You got our place memorized and I barely remember my way back home", Bey said and we laughed.

"Dont worry you will memorize it eventually also you guys are gonna love my new place y'all gotta come later Mila has already seen it and its on our snaps", I told them excitedly.

"Her house is big I say we all have a sleepover at her place", Camila said.

"Yes yes yes but one day we can all sleep in and no one has nothing to do maybe spring break", I said.

"Aren't you going to Miami?", Camila asked.

"Maybe its in the works and I plan on trying to take you guys with me even you Normani", I said and smiled.

"I have always wanted to go to Miami it seems so fun", Romeo said.

"It is very fun you, if it does happen you will have a lot of fun over there and at a cheap price and my house has a pool and the beach isnt far either"

"Sounds like lots of fun but I don't think I need a tan I could imagine being there", Jay said.

"Haha but you'll look fine babe", Beyonce said to him and he stood there akwardly smiling.

"Thanks we know you'll slay, ok guys this our stop we'll be visiting you pater be just send the address over", Jay said and they walked into their house.

"Welp Im next see you later everyine stay WEIRD", Camila said walking to her house.

"Did you guys have a good day?", Romeo asked.

"Got a lot of homework but other than it went fine", Normani said.

"It was good except for English that was the longest class of my life", I said and he smiled at me exaggerating it.

"Why?", he asked.

"I was so hungry and I didn't have snacks, then my little daughter has a kicking marathon", I said.

"Aww well al least you had a mother daughter moment, this is your stop see you guys later", he said.

"Alright see you later", I said and Normani waved. I opened the door up and put Normani's work on my table then threw my backpack to a corner.

"Welcome to  casa Jauregui make yourself at home, you can set your stuff on my table if you need to pee there is a hallway next to left side of the stair walk down and you'll find it. The kitchen is over here feel free to raid my fridge also you can watch whatever you want... I know this is the last thing in your thouht but if you want to where stretchy comfy clothes just ask", I said to her and she looked at me shocked.

"I feel bad now I thought you were a bad girl like in the not the way you want mainly because I heard things about you", she said.

"How? I thought no one knew before I came unless they keep up with me online", I said curiously.

"I went to Miami a while a go and I hung out with this guy named Mario-"

"Wait wait wait Mario ooh that dead boyyy How I wish I could slap him. What he tell you?", I said and she looked at me.

"You were his girlfriend and you were cheating on him so he broke up with you", she told me.

"Thats why you seemed so family I knew I saw you somewhere well he played you honey, I know that day it was day I found out I was pregnant. I was throwing up that day a lot I left school early and tool a rain check. He was selfish and made that lie up to not lose his rep and that day I told him he left me there alone throwing up more", I explained to her.

"Thank goodness I didn't give him my number no girl deserves that", she said and I clapped.

"Yesss honey let him stay thirsty for them digits"
