It was a regular saturday evening for the khannas. They were all getting ready for dinner when suddenly ali walked in.

Bebe- arey, ali puttar. Tu ithe kaise? Anyway aa gaya hai toh khaana kha ke jao

Ali- nahi bebe its ok he said stiffly. Mujhe actually avni se baat karni hai. Please usko bula denge aap

Bebe- kya hua puttar? Bahut pareshaan lag raha hai. 

Ali- nahi bebe, please aap avni ko bula denge

Just then avni and neil walked downstairs

Neil- Ali, nice to see you yaar. I didn't know you were coming

Ali- in a monotone- sorry I didn't inform before coming

Neil- arey I didn't mean it like that...but ali cut him off

Ali- avni..I need to talk to you

Avni- haan haan, we'll talk. Dinner khaate khaate we'll talk. Come. I think your fav paneer sabzi is there today. She moved to hold his hand and drag him to the table but ali moved away before she could touch him

Avni was confused.

Ali- gritting his teeth- avni, I need to talk to you. tu bahaar chal

Avni sensed that he was upset about something and quickly nodded to neil and said- ok come

And both of them left outside

Bebe- tillu, mujhe lag raha hai ali is very disturbed. Voh humesha jab aata hai toh kuch mithai le ke aata hai, and mera aashirwaad leta hai. Aaj bahut upset lag raha hai, usne toh smile tak nahi kiya.

Neil- pata nahi bebe...avni baat kar rahi hai. It'll be ok.

Meanwhile outside in the garden

Avni- Ali come sit she says directing him to the bench. Baith ke baat karte hai

Ali-angrily- Avni I'm not here to sit and chat with you.

Avni- Ali, kya hua?

Ali- tu bata kya hua? Why are you doing this? Did I ask you for any help? Why are you unecessarily poking your nose in my affairs?

Avni was shocked to see ali talking to her like this- Ali, kya kiya maine?

Ali-ENOUGH AVNI!- he said raising his voice. Just because we are friends doesn't mean I give you the right to interfere in my business

Avni- interfere?

Ali- haan that's what you have done. Please don't act like you don't know what's going on

Avni- Ali she said trying to hold his hands and calm him down

But ali swatted it away

Ali- avni, chamko café is my business. What I do with it is up to me. I don't give anyone the right to make any decisions for it, I don't need your fucking charity. Do you get that? I never asked you for help. So I don't appreciate your unnecessary and unwanted meddling! he spat out in anger

Avni was shocked at the words Ali was using and his tone.

Avni- Ali, listen to me....

Ali- NO. you listen to me. Just because you are earning now and because you are the bahu of the khanna's doesn't mean that you need to do charity for your less privileged friends ok!

Avni- what charity? Ali how can you say that? Ye kya bakwaas bole jaa raha hai tu? ali all I did was get you some investors....

Ali- Did I ask you to? Why are you poking your nose into my business?
