The Pain ch.29

Lucas has been in the hospital for three days now. Luckily he's only missed one day of school and today he is able to leave the hospital. It has only been three days since he kissed me and it was amazing. Considering I've never kissed anyone before, it was magical I guess. I remember my heart beating so fast when his soft lips met mine and I wished that we did this a long time ago.

Anyway, Lucas has not stopped talking about going on a date as soon as he gets out of the hospital. I eventually said yes even though he needs to rest. When the nurse came in the room and said that Lucas can leave now. When she left, Lucas jumped out of bed and walked around dancing. I laughed at the sight. He came over to me and gave me a proper hug, since he couldn't for the past three days.

"Come on." He said as he grabbed my bag and his and waited for me at the door. Luckily over the past days, the person who hit Lucas, got him a new car. It's literally identical to the one he had though before.

When we walk out of the hospital, I can tell how happy he is to be out. We get to his car he opens the passenger side for me. "Such a gentleman." I say smiling at him.

"Oh shush, your going to make me blush." He says chuckling and smiling. He shuts the door for me and goes to the drivers side. The doctors did say he could drive and plus he won't let me. He takes another way that doesn't lead to both of our homes.

"What are we doing?" I say to him confusingly. I gives me this wicked grin.

It was 5:40. That sun was setting. Lucas took me to this little hill and you can see everything. The small city, the buildings, the Sunday night traffic. It's amazing. We watched the sunset together and it was beautiful. I don't know how or where Lucas got a blanket he put it around the both of us.

He put his arm over my shoulder. We both didn't say anything while watching the sunset. The sunset said everything.
