We get to Veronica's neighborhood and park a few houses away from hers. Sure enough there was a car parked In her drive way. We both get out of my car and I intertwine my hand in hers and I lead the way as we walk in the backyards of the other houses. When we get to Veronica's neighbors backyard, we stop.

"I have my keys to the back of the house." She says pulling them out of her pocket.

"Okay let's go." I say back. I feel like we're on some sort of spy mission I used to play with my brother. It's kind of weird but there is someone trying to get into Veronica's house.

Once we get to the back entrance of Veronica's house, I watch as she puts in the keys. She turns it and then the door knob slowly opens. I pull Veronica back behind me because I hear something and I'm pretty sure she hears it to. The back entrance door enters the kitchen which is where we are at right now.

I feel Veronica tug on the side of my shirt. I look back at Veronica who is as white as a ghost. My hand is still in hers. But the she takes her left hand that is shaking and points at a drawer on the counter. Its open and I'm confused to why.

As we move into the living room, everything falls apart.
All I see is blood. Red scarlet blood. The source? Veronica's mother. In her hand is the knife which is the reason why that drawer was open. Veronica's mother killed herself. But in her other hand was a note from what it looks like.

I looked over at Veronica who was just staring. I watched as her eyes started to water and I wrap my arm around her waist.

"Why the hell would she do this?" Veronica says. She leans into me and I hear her crying.

A minute or two later she pulls away and I take my thumb and wipe the tears from her eyes. She turns around and I watch as she goes to the letter. She grabs it from her mother's hands slowly. I watch as more tears stream down her face.

Veronica has never truly hated anyone. She dislikes people, but doesn't hate them. Yes her mother has hurt her countless times and left her with nothing. But you do feel sad when you see the person that gave birth
to you dead.

Veronica comes back over to me with the note. She is shaking and tears are streaming down her face. So I lead her over to the kitchen table where we both sit down.

I wasn't really sure how to play out this chapter. But this is what I came up with in my small brain I have. But when I reread this chapter, let's just say a few tears were shed. Suicide is not how you should solve your problems.
Anyway, I'm going to leave now sooo until next chapter.
