The Pain ch.31

We both leaned back and looked at the stars. Are hands were in each other's hands.

"Looks, it's the Big Dipper." She said pointing up and connecting the dots. I smiled.

"You know astronomy?" I say turning on my side so I can look at her. She turns her head to look at me.

"Yeah. I learned it when I was little when my parents told me to get out of the house." Her parents must of been harsh on her. I really don't get why they thought Veronica was so bad.

"They were that hard on you?" I say. She nodes at me. I lean back and stared into the stars.

I noticed that Veronica shivered so I took of my jacket that I had another sweatshirt under. I wrapped my jacket around her.

"Thank you."

"No problem." I say as I gently lift up her head and move my arm under her head, my arm drapes over her shoulder. She snuggles into my side.

"Hey V, do you want to play a game where we ask a question to each other and we answer it?" I say.

She smiles and nodes. " Sure."

"Okay you go first. Ask me anything."

"What's your favorite color?" She asks me.

"Your eye color."

She rolls her eyes and laughs a little bit. "I don't even know what my own eye color is."

"Well I've done some research and you have heterochromia iridum. It's when your eyes have different colors in them. For example, your eyes have a brown rim on the edge of the pupil. But the rim of your iris is dark blue. But your iris itself if grey."

She gives me this confused look and then smiles. "How can you even see that? How did you?"

"Nothing goes past my eyes." I smile at her. Her head is rested against my chest and I kiss the top of her head.

I know this took me awhile to type but you know, I've been busy. Homework and school but it's spring break so now I can focus on this. I also realize that this is like my first long authors note. So hope you enjoyed this chapter✌️
