it took one glance at the photo frame surrounded by strings of flora for yongguk to break down.

lonely in the funeral hall, he stumbled in after the official ceremony. he wasn't allowed to attend since sanggyun's parents were against their relationship, yet they had enough of a heart to at least tell him where his boyfriend's body lay for the rest of eternity.

his hands automatically came up to his mouth, a whimper escaping past his lips as he glanced at the photo. sanggyun's beautiful, beautiful smile... trapped in that frame, surrounded by already melted candles and textureless flowers.

"no... no..." yongguk gasped, knees buckling as he stumbled towards the photo. he sat tiredly, his eyes glossed over. the more he looked at it, the more toxic it felt; the more he craved his partner, who had suddenly left him, just like that, after two and a half years of wholesome loving.

he crawled forward and gently picked the frame up with his two shaking hands. he didn't care if it was meant to stay there; he had no interest in religious beliefs, especially if they were made to seperate him and sanggyun from being lovers.

he glanced at the photo longingly, his thumb running over the boy's face, before he leaned forward and pressed his lips against it with a sob. his heart hurt so desperately.

"i'll find him, hyung," yongguk whispered to the photo, pressing his face against it. "i'll find the man who stabbed you. i promise."

he didn't care how crazy he looked. right now, he was hurt.

his boyfriend was gone and he had no idea what to do.
