yongguk grumbled to himself as the rain poured harder than ever that night.

he huddled up in his jacket, putting his hood up and darting straight to the door of his apartment complex. there, he fiddled around with his keys before finally unlocking it.

as he drooped up the stairs and got into his apartment, he sighed, looking around. it was dark, and one tiny light was lit up - a lamp, on the kitchen table.

"yongguk," sanggyun hovered over to him from the table, the younger boy not saying anything as he did so. "you're late, really late tonight."

yongguk thought about how he stormed out of his university campus after his fight with kenta and called hyunbin, where the two had a three-hour conversation over the phone while sitting at a bus stop. he stopped because it started sprinkling and he needed to get home.

"i was caught up with stuff," he huffed, shivers going down his spine as sanggyun looked right into his eyes.

"are you seeing someone else?"

yongguk felt his stomach turn uneasily, before he grinned. "hey, hyung, who do you think i am? of course i'm not."

"oh, good," sanggyun grinned, ruffling yongguk's hair as the younger boy frowned. "hyung, how are you touching me... you angry?"

"i- uh, i thought you were cheating on me, it's just from that," sanggyun laughed it off, before hovering over to the living room. "can we have chicken feet tonight? i've been craving all of a sudden, it's weird."

yongguk sighed yet again. in order to keep his boyfriend unaware of his endeavours with hyunbin, he needed to keep complying with the delicacies that sanggyun wanted, even if that meant emptying his wallet each time.
