This is my first novel on this...be easy on me please as i don't know how it will turn out. All i can hope for is that my readers enjoy this novel and keep giving me feedback as to how it is. Don't be shy...tell the truth, you either like it or hate it. I'll upload a chapter after a couple of days (My chapters tend to be really long, my apologies for that). Thank you for reading, it really does mean a lot. :) Oh and Zac stone in this novel is first portayed as the old "younger" version of Zac efron, there is a reason to this...which you will find out deeper in the novel xoxo

Chapter 1

“I am going to need more coffee” I sigh. Leaving the library, I head into the cafeteria. That’s odd. There’s no one here, usually it is packed at lunchtime which is why I avoid it. Curiosity got the best of me; I walked out the lunch hall and made my way around the school, poking my head into several classrooms to see if anyone was lingering there. No one was, a sudden chanting caught my attention. I could hear a cluster of footsteps behind me. Turning, I saw a girl, Isabelle. Tears ran down her red cheeks, she stopped when she saw me. Her bottom lip quivering, she ran into my arms. She sobbed onto my chest, loud cries left her body. We stayed in that position for at least 15 minutes. Her sobbing got quieter and she was no longer trembling. When I was sure she wasn’t going to collapse I put my arm around her shoulders and walked her into the library. I knew no one was going to be there because that’s where I usually am during free periods whereas everyone else either goes home or hangs around the school corridors. I sit her down on a chair before slumping on the one next to her. Minutes of silence pass before her scared, beautiful blue eyes meet mine. I could tell she is biting the inside of her cheek, to prevent herself from crying. Her eyes dart to the floor while she fidgets with her hands on her lap.

“Are you okay?” I ask, concerned.

She nods.

“What happened? You can tell me. I mean if you want” I say awkwardly.

A small whisper leaves her throat.

“I’m sorry, what was that?” I ask.

She closes her eyes and sighs, her shoulders slumped. She looks exhausted and hurt. A sudden urge to kiss her tears away appears, I push it away as fast as it came.

“I’m an idiot” she whispers.

A soft chuckle escapes my throat. She looks up, meeting my eyes again. I realise I may have offended her so I apologise before saying.

“You’re not an idiot, if anything whoever made a beautiful girl like you cry is the idiot” I say with confidence.

Usually I’m not as bold as I sound but this girl lights a spark in me which I am not afraid to explore.

“Thank you” she smiles, a blush slowly appears on her already rosy pink cheeks. She looks adorable.

She lifts her hand to push my glasses back with her index finger. I scrunch my nose up and the most beautiful sound escapes her full lips. Her laugh is like music to my ears.

I join her, we both burst into hysterics. Her laugh slowly fades, ending with a sigh.

“Little miss bipolar, are you ready to tell me what has you all down in the dumps” I try to joke away the awkwardness which is slowly surrounding us. To my surprise, it works. She clears her throat before taking in a deep breath.

“My boyfriend and I were fooling around, I got drunk at a party and he took me home. And by home, I mean his house. I should have said no but I was too drunk to even consider the consequences to my actions. He took me to his bedroom and we started kissing” She lowers her eyes as tears pool in them, making them sparkle under the bright light of the library.
