Chapter Twenty-Six

Hey Guys...that's me back, sorry for the delay...i have prelims and exams coming up this year so i've been quite busy studying and i'm overwhelmed with my own personal problems that it all gets too much...has anyone ever been in the situation where you know you have to take a break from doing things in life because you just cant handle it anymore and the pain and the worry gets too much and all you is stare at the wall/ceiling reliving the horribel memories which linger in your brain? you know you need to do something to take your  mind off it but each time you do, when youre alone all you can do is sit and cry because it all gets too much? Chapter 26           (Jason and Isabelle scene)

 

“Jason.”

“Yeah babe?” Jason said as he stood up and rushed to Isabelle’s side.

“I want to know the truth” she shook her arm off from his hold and turned to face him.

“About what” he asked, biting his bottom lip.

“What happened between you and Zac”

“I told you”

“No…you lied to me didn’t you”

“I promise you babe, I didn’t lie. He told he just wanted to give you back a t-shirt you gave him and he started bad mouthing you and saying how much of a bitch you where to him and how he was glad it was over and when I told him you were pregnant with his child he completely freaked out and he told me you should have an abortion. I told her you were almost two months along and he just shrugged and walked away” he said harshly.

A build-up of tears cascaded down Isabelle’s cheeks. She shook her head.

“That can’t be true. You didn’t see him today, he was heartbroken.” She cried.

“You went to meet him?” Jason asked.

“Yeah, I had to hear what he had to say”

“What did he have to say?”

“He told me he was hurt…by me.” Isabelle met Jason’s eyes, her blood boiling. “He told me that Jason is the right guy for me and how he wishes us the best for our future together-”

“He probably wants your sympathy and for you to feel sorry for him. His plan seems to be working so far, I told him me and you weren’t together and he has it all wrong. All I want to do is be by your side as a friend” he smiled.

“You didn’t let me finish. He mentioned how on the first night I came back from Florida I slept with you!” I yelled.

“He’s lying…I didn’t” Jason shook his head.

“Why would someone assume that?”

“I don’t know…he just wants to create arguments between us. Please don’t listen to him” he begged.

“Do I look that gullible to you?” Isabelle scoffed.

“Okay I may have exaggerated a little bit but it’s only because I love you. Isabelle I have always loved you and I made the biggest mistake in letting you go. I wanted you to realise I was the one for you and look, you came back to me. We are destined to be together, I will help you raise this baby. I will be the best possible father to this unborn child; I will cherish the baby and spoil him or her.” Jason took a step back and bent down on one knee.

Jason put his hand in his right pocket and took out a sparkling diamond ring, which glistened in the sunlight. He took Isabelle’s hand in his and spoke.

“Isabelle, would you do me the honour in becoming my wife? To love to cherish and I promise you I will always make you happy till death do us apart. Will you marry me?”

Isabelle covered her mouth with her hand, unable to speak or to move. She felt the cool metal slide on her marriage finger, soft lips pressed kisses over her hand which was still in Jason’s grasp.
