Demi's POV

Friday arrived quicker than I would have liked.

Wednesday night I called up a few people and I was able to get Nick and Kehlani on board and Phil called saying he was able to get Khalid and Camila on board. This meant we had a show.

All our management teams got together and were able to get everything that was immediately important organised that night. The concert was going to be held at The Forum, and our management teams have collectively managed to get a full backstage/front of house team together that are willing to work pro bono.

Our teams got some posters together and by 8 pm Wednesday night, the show was announced and spread all over our social media sights. The tickets went on sale Thursday morning and the response was insane. In 2 hours we had sold over 75% of the tickets and this morning, there were just under 1000 tickets left.

The amount of respect that I have for these people is insane. They managed to accomplish so much in such a short space of time and I will never know how they did it.

I arrived at the hospital Friday morning at about 9. I have to tell Elise what's happening with the concert and the charity. She still knows nothing of it and a lot of that has to do with me not wanting to have stepped over the line. Elise had been so adamant about figuring out how she was going to pay for Harriet's medical care on her own and I was just worried that she'd feel betrayed by what I have set up.

"Hello Demi," Elise chirped as I walked into the now familiar room, "are you going to be here all day again?"

"Hey Elise," I dropped my bag down on the floor and sunk down onto the small couch against the wall facing towards the end of Harriet's bed, "no, I'm only here for about an hour. There's actually something I need to talk to you about." Elise looked back over at me, her happy mood slipping slightly and being replaced on her face was a slight look of worry.

"Oh?" she pushed slightly.

I took a deep breath and began not explain everything to Elise. I explained how the idea came about with Madison and Brinley, how it developed with my manager, how the meeting came about, and how the hospital will be involved. I explained how the whole charity will work and I explained Madison and Brinley's involvement in it. When it looked like she had processed what I had told her, I went on to explain the benefit concert that was to take place tonight. "I'm actually going to get the girls from school soon. I've got to take them over to the venue to get the last of it all rehearsed and ready for tonight." When I stopped talking, Elise kind of just looked like she hadn't heard anything I'd said. We sat in silence for a little while just looking in each others direction, when out of nowhere Elise jumped up, startling me, and rushed over and engulfed me in a hug telling me 'thank you' over and over. When she pulled back she sat down on the couch beside me.

"Thank you so much for doing everything you have been. And I don't just mean with this concert. You've been here every day giving me and Harriet all your support and I am so grateful for that." I smiled at Elise, happy that she was okay with everything.

We sat and talked for a while longer before I went over to talk to Harriet like I did before I left every day. Her doctor said that he doesn't know if she can hear us but I figure, if she can, it will help her fight to come back to us if she knows we're still here for her. "I'll be back tomorrow and I'd like to be greeted with you awake and smiling please." I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before I stood back up and picked up my bag, making my way out of her room.

"Demi!" Elise spoke up in a hurry so stop me from leaving. I turned back to look at her confused why she had called me back. "Harriet told me you were thinking of trying to adopt her at one stage, are you still trying to?" I was a little taken aback by the question, I hadn't been expecting it at all.
