Soraru stared at the empty space that Araki had just vacated, his mind racing. His face felt strangely hot, and sighing a little, Soraru placed a hand to his face. A small creak of the door had him looking up, his eyes meeting Mafu's worried ones. "I'm fine, Mafu-san," he says softly, but Mafu does not look convinced, as he perched on the chair. "eat," was all he says, avoiding Soraru's eyes as he stared down at his clasped hands. The atmosphere turned awkward, but Mafu doesn't seem to notice as he examined his own nails studiously in order to ignore the other's questioning stare.
"Sora, the doctor told me you need-" the new voice snapped Soraru out of his reverie, and Soraru looked up to see Hashiyan. "ah," he smiled, and Hashiyan neared them, nudging Mafu out of the chair as he took Soraru's hands in his own warm ones. They did not notice how Mafu's carefully neutral expression twist into something like jealousy, or the way Mafu's hands clenched into fists at his sides. "Hashiyan-kun, Soraru-san, I'll leave you guys to talk?" he offered softly, and Hashiyan nods. The blonde walked out without glancing back, not even once, at Soraru as the door clicked shut behind him.
"what were you telling me?" he asks, and Hashiyan tried to smile reassuringly. "the doctor says you have to go therapy," he murmurs, and Soraru shook his head. "I'm fine," he insisted, and Hashiyan ran a finger past his knuckles. "that's what I told the doctor, but he isn't taking no for an answer." Soraru's eyes were wide with fear, and they filled with tears as he shook his head even more vigorously. "no, please-" he stumbled over his words as he stifled back a sob. "please, Hashi- I can't." the black-haired male's heart swelled with pain as he stared at the broken male in front of him. He drew the shorter into a hug as he kissed the top of Soraru's head. "I'll tell him."
He felt Soraru nod against his chest, and smiled, letting him go. "continue eating, Sora." his words held a tone of command, and Soraru nodded meekly, spooning some of the food into his mouth and chewing mechanically. He glanced up to see Hashiyan smile proudly, and proceeded to eat more. When he is done, he leaned against the fluffed pillows, a hand resting on his stomach. "are you full?"  Soraru nodded. It was true. It had been long since Soraru had actually had an actual meal, and ate without thinking bout the calories he is consuming.
"oh yeah, Naruse and Kuro says they will be coming to visit you whenever they are free, so, maybe today after work?" Hashiyan murmurs. A small smile spread on Soraru lips. "it had been long since we have seen them," he agreed, even though his heart raced. He doesn't really hang them to see him in this situation, but it does not seem like a wise choice to reject the offer. He noticed Hashiyan's grimace, and he grinned. "what, have you seen them in these few weeks?" Hashiyan's cheeks turned red, as he looked down, mumbling some excuse. He gave up, though, his shoulders slumping in defeat. "I met up with Naruse a few times," he admitted, and Soraru grinned cheekily. "was he your type?" he asked, elbowing him a little. Hashiyan winced, and twisted his fingers together. "we clicked, but I'm not sure he is into me or not... I mean, he is totally out of my league," he sighs. "he totally is," Soraru replies, putting his hand on Hashiyan's clasped ones.
Hashiyan's past relationships were a failure, his boyfriends ending up breaking up with him as they found out that they liked each other more. Hashiyan had stepped back, but it doesn't mean he is over them. Soraru had seen the sadness in his eyes every time he stared at his exes, seen the tears that had came after the breakup. Soraru felt happy, for his best friend who finally found another to move on. And those emotions swelled in him as he held Hashiyan's hand.

a/n : i really wanted to be treated like a little, like getting cuddles and stuff but most of my friends think im matured and I'm supposed to be the one that others lean on instead of vise versa, and it doesn't help since im smtg like the youngest in the group but eh
