When Rib smiled at him, luggage at his side and a jacket in hand, Soraru feels like bursting into tears right there and then. "I'll miss you," was all he croaks out instead, and Rib pulled him into a warm hug. "I'll be gone for three days, love, video call me as often as you can," he says instead, and Soraru nods. "everyday," he promises, and Rib nods.

He glances behind Soraru with a frown, and he realizes that Mafu is standing there, behind them in silence. "hey, I'll go first? talk to you when i arrive." he leans in for a soft kids press against Soraru's temple, and pulled away. "don't be mean to Mafu, okay?  Let him make it up to you." he whispers, and smiles warmly at him.

When Rib leaves, Soraru turns away, unable to stop himself from tearing up. It is funny how Rib manages to keep his place in his heart no matter how long it takes for him to return to him. He ignored Mafu, walking at a quick pace to get back home before the other catches up to him. He knows that deep inside, he is still not ready to talk to Mafu.

The other followed him closely, right up to his doorstep. Soraru doesn't care to spare him a glance, only pursing his lips when he hears Mafu stepping into his house. Yet he does not stop him. Loneliness is something he can't handle at this moment, right now. "Soraru-san," Mafu starts, insecurity clear in his voice. Soraru half turns towards him, and he hummed. "What?"

      "we need to talk, please."
