Beeping.

That was what Soraru heard, when he opened his eyes and stared at the white ceiling. The smell of disinfectant is in the air, and Soraru made a face- he hates that smell. It reminds him of late nights spent in the hospital and tears, of pain and the sound of his heart breaking into pieces.

He closed his eyes.

He heard the door open and shifted a little, and cracked his eye open a tiny bit. He saw a blurry figure of a black-haired male, sniffling softly. Once he is completely sure that he is, indeed, Hashiyan, Soraru opened his eyes fully to peer up at the crying male. "Hashiyan?" he croaked out, and the rapper whipped his head towards him. "sora!" Hashiyan crossed the room in long strides and gathered him in his arms, crying and laughing at the same time. "stop it, you're being disgusting," Soraru wrinkled his nose in distaste, and Hashiyan laughs again. "I missed you, Sora," the rapper muttered, and as they parted, Soraru frowned. "it isn't a long time since we have met, it had only been a week." the longest week in his life, but Soraru kept that truth away.
"no, actually." Soraru looked up in surprise, meeting the eyes of the rapper, glossy with tears. "what?" he asked, and looked around the room, as if he can just pull the answers from the room itself. "you have been here for around two weeks...or so." Soraru turned back towards Hashiyan, his face completely devoid of emotions as he dragged a hand down his face. "what did the doctors say?" his voice is quiet, but Hashiyan heard it all the same. "loss of blood."
Soraru stared at his bandaged arms, feeling numb. "what did my parents say?" "they are here everyday. I told them to take a rest today, but I think they are on their way here, since you woke up." Hashiyan sighs, and covered Soraru's had with his own. "it will be fine," the rapper murmurs, but Soraru didn't know whether it will be okay ever again.

Whether he will be okay ever again.
