CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE
It's been a week now since Jessica and I made our decision. We're leaving next Saturday. It's Thursday today. Mom's taking us out of school next Wednesday so we only have five more days of school.
Mom's letting Jessica and I invite over our friends tomorrow night for a party. Boys included.
I invited Mackenzie, Kaylee, Keely, Megan, Hunter, Cade and Molly.
Jessica invited Maddie, Quinn, Miranda, Tom, Donovan and Skylar.
On Saturday we're having a family party. Four of our aunts, three of our uncles, and fifteen of our cousins are coming.
"Sadie! Jessica! Brooke! Chloe! Paige! Gymnastics and dance!" Mom yells
I quickly put on a purple leotard and gray shorts. Jessica puts on the same. I go help Chloe while Jessica goes to help Paige.
I pick out a pink leotard with a little skirt attached for Chloe while Jessica get out the same for Paige just in purple. Brooke's in a pink and purple two piece leotard.
After we all get dressed and Jessica makes five sandwiches, gets five apples, five apple sauces, five juice packs, and puts them in a big lunch box we all pile into the car.
Once we arrive at the gym Jessica and I run in since we're running late while Brooke helps Mom with Paige and Chloe.
"There you are girls! We need to go over some things about Texas."
"Ok" we say in unison
"Why? Why did you two wear the same outfit?"
"I don't know." we again say in unison
"Ok, well first of all in Texas I'm getting a two bedroom apartment. I'll have a room and you two will share a room. Second, NO wearing the same outfit unless I tell you to. Third, we'll be there for five months. Lastly, you probably know this but we leave next Saturday, which is in 10 days including today and the day we leave, at 5:30am. We are flying."
"Ok." We again say in unison
"Now get to work! Sadie on floor and Jessica on bars!"
"Ok." we say as we walk to the floor and bars
