CHAPTER NINE
From now until Jessi gets her cast off Clayton is taking us to school and Dad is picking us up when ever Clayton can't.
I helped Jessi get to her first class then I got to my own. At lunch I sat with Jessica, Quinn, Miranda, Maddie, Kaylee, Megan, and Mackenzie. Keely was sick.
After school Dad picked us up. I didn't have gymnastics today because Dusty was with family. I changed into a pair of gray sweat pants and a faded red t-shirt and took a nap, Jessi did the same. I woke up to Jack, David, and Connor screaming at each other so I got up.
Jessi was already up because she wasn't in the room. I quickly brushed my hair into a ponytail, got on gray shorts, and a light blue crop top. I headed to the basement to practice a little, but when I got almost all the way down there I heard Quinn and Maddie say very mean things about me.
I quickly ran to my room and cried until Clayton came in. I told him everything I had heard and eventually stopped crying.
Clayton brushed my hair for me while I put conciliar on and slipped on a t-shirt. Everyone then went downstairs to eat. As soon as we all sat down Dad slowly said, "Kids, you're mother and I need to tell you something."
