CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX
The next day all of the cousins come over and talk to Jessica and I the entire time. We had a blast!
I fall asleep that night very happily.
The next day Jessica and I go to gymnastics instead of school.
Dusty tells us to come in every other day that week, so we do.
We leave for trails on Friday. Mom, Dad, Clayton, Jack, David, Connor, Brooke, Paige, and Chloe fly into California with us.
In the hotel Dusty has a room, Clayton, David, Connor, and Jack have a room, Brooke, Jessica, and I have a room, and lastly Mom, Dad, Chloe, and Paige have a room.
When we get to California we all go to our rooms and go to sleep because its late.
In the morning Jessica and I wake up and get ready. Once we're ready we wake up Brooke and take her to Mom and Dad's room. Jessica and I say bye then Dusty takes us to the place where the trials are being held. Jessica, Molly, and I all compete our routines perfectly for today.
We go back to the hotel then go out to eat with our family.
*time skip to the trials day 2*
Again Jessica, Molly, and I compete our routines perfectly. Everyone gets shuffled into a room to wait for the people's names to be called for who made the team. The announcer begins reading the names, "On the 2016 US women's gymnastics team we have Caterina Force! Molly Evens! Sadie Anderson! Jessica Anderson! And Gabby Douglas!"
We all walk out to the floor as our names are called. All of us are smiling, we're going to the Olympics.
We get all of our USA gymnastics uniform stuff, change, and take tons of pictures then we all go back to the hotel.
We have a month at home, then two months at the Olympic training center, than lastly a month at the Olympics.
Once at the hotel I check my phone and see that I have tons of texts!
Bri- Congrats Sadie! We have some Olympians in our family now!
Hunter- Congrats Sade!! I love you!
Beth- Congrats!
Mackenzie- Congrats girl!
Keely- Go Sadie!
Kaylee- Congrats Sadie!
Megan- Congrats!
Emily- Way to go Sadie! Congrats!
I reply to all of them- thank you! I love you! I'll see you soon!
I see that Jessica has a lot of texts too.
Molly comes into our room and we take a selfie of the three of us.
"We're Olympians now" Molly says
"Yeah, we're going to be famous" Jessica and I say in unison
