CHAPTER FIFTY-TWO
I woke up to Jessica and Molly jumping on me.
"Get up! We have to be in the gym in an hour!" Jessica told me
"Ugh ok!" I replied
I didn't sleep very well last night because I was so nervous about today.
*an hour later*
Molly, Gabby, Jessica, Caterina, the boys, and I are all at the gym with the coaches waiting to get the schedules. Amanda walks in and immediately takes charge.
"Girls and their coaches on the other side, boys and their coaches stay here!" Amanda orders
We all do as she says and Amanda comes over by us.
"Full team is today, the three people selected for each event are tomorrow, and individuals are the next day." she tells us
We all nod and Amanda continues, "Beam is first, then bars, vault, and lastly floor. The order for all the events goes by how well you did yesterday. The least strongest to the strongest."
We all nod and wait for her to tell us who goes first and all that. Instead she hands us all a paper with the orders and times.
"Memorize this and you'll be good to go." she tells us
We nod and Amanda goes over to the boys.
On beam, first is me, then Jessica, Molly, Gabby, and lastly Caterina.
On bars, first is Jessica, then me, Gabby, Caterina, and then Molly.
On vault, first is Molly, then Jessica, Caterina, Gabby, and lastly me.
On floor, first is Caterina, then me, Molly, Gabby, and then Jessica.
Crap. I'm the very first thing the judges will see from the USA women's gymnastics team.
