Name: Fireflies
Ooh, I actually really like this name, I don't know why but I really like it, I've never heard it before (10/10)
Gender: Tom

Sexuality: straight, contemplating aromatic

Clan: none (he is a Loner)

Appearance: Fireflies is a fiery ginger tabby, with bolder tabby markings along his tail, and legs. he has a lighter underbelly. he has bright yellow eyes, almond-shaped eyes. he is quite lithe and skinny, though he does have quite muscular legs and strong, thick paw pads from walking. he has rather large eyes as well, and scars litter his pelt.
I love the details, his pelt suits his name, though, muscular legs and large paws seem strange on lithe cats. (9/10)
Personality: Fireflies is very friendly, wanting to make friends, which often leads him into sticky situations. he acts like he doesn't have a care in the world, even though he deals with a big problem every night. Despite his friendly demeanour, he is quite nervous when he has to sleep, and certain words make him have a 180 and become quite cold and hard. But because he is quite oblivious and gullible, he rarely hears said words.
This is quite interesting, you should give him a few more positive traits, his over-friendliness isn't exactly the most positive. (8/10)

Mother: Crystal- lightish tabby she-cat, with a lighter underbelly, and crystal blue-green eyes

Father: Pheonix - firey ginger tom, with yellow eyes

Siblings: Owl - lightish tabby tom, with crystal blue eyes

Mate/s: Angel - snowy white she-cat, with electric yellow eyes (deceased, hit by a car)

Secrets- inky black she-cat, with cold, green eyes (deceased, mauled by a dog) Backstory: said in next comment cuz its LONG
I like this, it's easy to tell where his traits come from and unlike many OCs, he had multiple mates which is quite unique, the traits are clear. (10/10)

Backstory: Fireflies was born to Crystal and Pheonix, with only his brother, Owl. He was born a kittypet, and lived a normal life. when he was 6 moons (6 months) his mother promised him a mate. Angel, the kittypet next door. he fell in love with her over a long time, and she was falling for him too. Over the course of 3 moons, he and Angel developed a strong, loving relationship. But, that was short-lived, when they were crossing a road. Fireflies saw a car and sprinting across, yet Angel, not looking, was run over. Fireflies blamed himself. And then he decided to leave the twolegs behind, and go on a journey to find himself, because of his guilt. he said goodbye to his family and left. But that's when the dreams started. He would dream of a dark place, filled with nothing. Angel would appear, and kill him, in horrible ways. Sometimes, it would be with claws and teeth, other times with twoleg weapons that Fireflies saw from the TV his twolegs owned. Angel would scream 'IT'S YOUR FAULT IM DEAD!' as she killed him. He began to lose sleep, as he trekked across the land. But soon, he met another She-cat, called Secrets. she was a Loner, and they formed a pair together, surviving the world. she taught him how to hunt better, how to fight and useful herbs. Fireflies now took Poppy seeds every night, to keep the dreams away. He and secrets stumbled upon a 'tribe' of some sorts; a large group of cats that worshipped the stars. The let the two stay for a while, but alas, just like Angel, Secrets was killed in a dog attack. and even worse, She now joined Angel in killing Fireflies in his dreams. Fireflies resorted to taking even more Poppy seeds. He left the tribe and continued his trek. Eventually, he stumbled upon 5 Clans (Non-Canon), and he took residence on their territory. He was found by the Clans and was taken prisoner. And yet again, luck wasn't good for Fireflies, when Secret's sister, Apple shows up, blaming fireflies for her sister's death. (CONTINUED NEXT POST) Apple declared they hand over Fireflies, or she will take over all the territory The Clan that imprisoned him refused, as the leader, Dockstar, believed he was the cat mentioned in a prophecy. Apple gives them 1 moon to hand him over, and the Clan prepares for war. The Clan successfully defeats Apple's group, with Fireflies killing Apple herself. the Clan asks him to join, but he says no. However, he still talks to the clan, and his best friends in the clan, Coalpelt and Moonscar (this clan allows the prefix Moon- FYI)
That's a pretty good backstory, but, what was the Prophecy and wasn't he taken as a prisoner, but still, it's pretty good and well fleshed out, I'm curious as well since his mother promised him a mate, what does that mean? (7.5/10)

Vassy Apple- Bad Apple (idk who made it) Fireflies headcanon voice is the guy who sung Fireflies Fireflies theme would NOT be Fireflies, but Ghost, by Ella Henderson (cuz it fits his backstory more)
