Name: Smokefeather
Smoke isn't common, nor is it uncommon, it is used quite often for background characters, feather is a nice match to it tho I'm quite sure that I've seen the name, Smokefeather around before, despite that, Smokefeather still is a nice name. (7/10)
Gender: Tom
Nicc
Clan: WindClan
Nuce, can't rate that.
Rank: Medicine Cat
Cool
Appearance: A slender, dull grayish light brown cat with darker tabby stripes and a white underside and tail tip. He has rich yellow eyes and white toes on his front paws and white socks on his back legs. His pelt is relatively short and thin. He has a small scar on his flank from an apprentice training accident and a few scars on his face from falling into a thorn bush as a kit.
I love the detail! I really like the scars and have an explanation for it. I just have one suggestion, maybe you make his pelt suit his name a bit more? Like switch it around and make him a brownish grey tabby. (Tho I'm not sure if that would make much of a difference)
(9.5/10)

Attitude/Reputation: He's quite dramatic. He's very energetic and it's difficult for him to stay in one place for long. He's a busybody and always has to be doing something. He tells the truth when he probably shouldn't and tells lies when he shouldn't. He's a good liar, but a known liar so no one really believes anything he says anymore. He's kind of annoying and not many of the cats like him, but his immature and fun-loving nature does appeal to the younger cats. He is, however, very intelligent and well-organized.
I love the mix of good and bad traits, they fit together quite well and has some unique personalities to him. (10/10)
.Family:

Mother is a silver tabby, name unknown.

Sister is an unnamed gray kit.

Lakefrost is his foster mother. She is a short, heavy brown cat with tufty fur and pale green eyes.

She was called 'lake' after being the largest kitten in her litter- her smaller sisters were called Puddlekit and Poolkit. She was called 'frost' because she was not a particularly gentle cat, rather a strong, independent warrior that did whatever it took to succeed. She was killed after the camp was flooded. She was currently an elder and was not evacuated in time as they went to save the kits first.

Newtstrike is his foster father. He is a handsome russet tabby with bright orange eyes. He was named 'newt' after his pelt color and 'strike' after his skill in battle. He was killed in battle against RiverClan by the RiverClan deputy after brutally murdering a kit.

"He had three foster brothers (litter mates)--

Cedarpaw, a brown tabby with hazel eyes and a nick in one ear and a scar across his muzzle from an encounter with a fox (who died from an infected bite from the same fox);

Elmpaw, a dark red-brown tom with orange eyes and a scar across his belly from a fight with a ThunderClan apprentice (killed by a bad case of greencough);

and Emberstorm, a russet tabby tom with light green eyes and a soft, pale belly, named for his pelt and the fact that he is like a storm--calm and collected until he strikes, and after that you don't know what to expect (currently living).

He also had two older foster sisters (Tulipbush, a brown she-cat with tufty, bush-like fur and soft, petal-shaped ears, named for her ears and pelt (killed by an unknown disease);

and Hazelkit, a mottled brown with faint red tabby stripes and white toes, named for her bark-like pelt (mysteriously disappeared, suspected to have been snatched away by a bird of prey).)

I love the names! The genes are quite clear and obvious, I like how you added their personality as well. (10/10)

Backstory: He was born to a silver tabby who was too young to have kits. His sister was stillborn and he was very weak and likely to die. Lakefrost had just given birth to her second litter a quarter moon before and it was raining heavily. She desperately wanted a break from the nursery, so she left her three kits with the other queen in the nursery, Talonivy, and headed out into the rain. She caught Smokefeather's mother digging a hole on the edge of WindClan territory to bury her kits--his sister was already dead and she expected him to die by the time the hole was fully dug.

Lakefrost told he she-cat that she had recently had kits and that she could take care of her kit. The silver tabby sadly gave her kit up and retreated to the forest. Lakefrost then took the kit back to camp and named him Smokekit for the dull grayness of his pelt.
"Smokekit was a very energetic kit. He was always smaller than his brothers, and they therefore always felt the need to protect him, and rightfully so. He was always teased for his size, even by kits younger than himself. He was probably the most enthusiastic of his littermates to become an apprentice. He was very excited when Heatherbreeze, the deputy and known for being one of the greatest warriors in the Clan.

But Heatherbreeze didn't like him as much as he'd hoped. In fact, she didn't like him at all. She found him annoying, disrespectful, and dishonest (which was true) and found any way possible to get him out of her sight.

This was quite depressing for an apprentice of his age, but he still trained hard and took whatever his mentor threw at him willingly, believing that it all was to help him on his journey to become a great warrior.

No matter how hard he trained, Heatherbreeze still hated him and all of the apprentices bigger than him teased him mercilessly.

One night Smokepaw could take it no more and he came up with a plan to stop the bullying. He made up a prophecy about himself and told every cat he could that he had dreamed it. It was about his made-up mother coming to him and telling him all these details about how he would save WindClan.

But no one believed him.

Heatherbreeze, along with Shadestar, the current leader, decided that he was not fit to be a warrior. After being "frightfully irritating to those around him" and "dishonest to the point of madness" he was to be moved to the medicine cat den where he would train under Ravenpelt instead.

This was done immediately.

Smokepaw, disappointed and discouraged, abandoned his quest to be the best warrior WindClan had ever seen and became a great medicine cat. He earned the name Smokefeather, 'feather' after his lightweight and agile build.
Not long after he was moved up to the rank of a full medicine cat, all four Clans were seized upon by a fatal disease which seemingly had no cure.

StarClan sent a prophecy to the ThunderClan medicine cat, Rosestep, which told the Clans to each send two cats to the mountains where they would receive yet another prophecy that would lead them to the cure.

Smokefeather was sent as one of the two WindClan cats on the journey, the other being Sedgepaw. The pair were chosen because they were "the two cats that no one would miss."

Smokefeather later rejoined his Clan with the cure and ended the disease with only ten cats in his Clan remaining.

He later drowned saving a kit (Sedgepaw (now Sedgebloom)'s kit) from the lake at the age of 133 moons (it sounds like a lot, but it's really not. It's pretty much the equivalent of 61 human years).

I really like that! It's detailed and quite unique, I love it, it's really cool and cute! (10/10)

Others: He's straight. I forgot to mention that.

Smokefeather never did find his mom, but he never did stop searching. He asked every kittypet, loner, and even rogue (the ones that would talk to him, that is) if they had met a silver tabby cat, just in hopes that he could find her, or at least find out who she was or what happened to her.

In the end Smokefeather actually DID save his Clan, along with seven other cats, of course, but he earned some respect afterwards. Ravenpelt was dead by the time he got back so everyone was glad to have a real medicine cat. He was a well respected member of the Clan after returning.

Aw, that's cute.

And the final score is....

46.5/50 (93%)

All in all, I really love Smokefeather's character, he's very well developed and has a brilliant backstory. Thank you
