*(y/n) pov*

I heard someone walking up to me but i didn't have the energy or desire to move "(y/n)?" i heard someone say. oh great, how did he find me. I just looked up at him, all that lit his face was the street lights on the boardwalk. I could see he looked hurt, but why he was the one who brought another girl. "(y/n) are you okay??" austin asked concerned. "yeah yeah i'm fine" i said wiping my face and forcing a smile. "why didn't you show up to the movies?" he asked looking sad. "oh no reason i just wasn't in the mood for it" i said trying not to cry. "(y/n) seriously, whats wrong?" he asked again. "i saw you with camila"

*austins pov*

oh no, i didn't mean to hurt her. Before i could respond she added, "i saw you and i just left because you were obviously having a good time with her and i didn't want to ruin it"

my heart sunk when she said that. "no no (y/n), you have it all wrong, i only brought camila to the movies to make you jealous because you said you had a crush on zach" i said trying to explain to her. "oh" was all she said. "trust me, i don't like camila like that, she's just a friend" i said while sitting down next to her. "don't worry about it austin, you don't need to feel bad for me, i'm just another one of your fans." i could tell that i hurt her a lot. She started getting up to walk away, but before she could, i grabbed her and turned her around and hugged her really tight. I wanted to kiss her, but i just met her and i didn't want to jump into anything too soon. "i'm sososooo sorry (y/n), i really do like you" i said while releasing her from the hug and looking into her eyes. there was a long silence before she replied with a sigh "it's okay austin, i forgive you, and just for the record i have a crush on you too" she said with a wink. i just smiled at her, "the rest of the guys are over there playing volleyball, wanna come join?" i asked. "sure!" she responded before saying "race you there" and running away. "hey! no fair" i yelled while starting to run behind her.
